    Business Development Manager - Power & Grid

    We are seeking an experienced Business Development  Manager to lead and manage key targeted accounts for our Power Systems (PS) Business within the Power and Grid (P&G) Segment. This role involves developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive growth and maximize the full SE basket capture of the segment.

    • Develop and adapt account plans and Go-to-Market strategies to drive growth.
    • Manage key targeted accounts for Power Systems (PS) Business in the Power and Grid (P&G) Segment, as well as the ecosystem to maximize the full SE basket capture of the segment PAM.
    • As account owner, have the full responsibility of analysing, developing & adapting account plans, Go-to-Market-Strategies (GTM) and influence channels (SE and those of Customers) to drive growth both in PS as well as across SE basket.
    • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the Segment in order to profitably grow the sales of SE products, solutions and services.
    • Ensure that all SE business within the Segment, regardless of GTM is done in full compliance with local laws & regulations and the company's Trust Charter, governance, policies and processes.

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate qualification in a technical stream; postgraduate business qualification preferred.
    • 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record in the P&G Segment.
    • Strong understanding of public and private procurement models.
    • Technical competence and ability to demonstrate the value of digital platforms.
    • Knowledge of the P&G system ecosystems within the SADC region.
    • Ability to ideate solutions and involve the correct resources from early identification to execution.
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to drive team goals.
    • Availability to travel within SA and SADC regions.
    • Ability to make quick decisions and manage risks.
    • Experience with corporate governance and customer satisfaction.
    • Comfortable in a high-performance culture and able to work under pressure.
    • Ability to coach and mentor junior talent.

    Director - Customer Care Center & CSQ

    Responsibilities:  

    • Manage CS&Q & CCC function for AAF Cluster
    • Interact regularly with customers to better understand the expectations
    • Represent the voice of customer and drive customer centric mindset within the cluster
    • Influence the decision process of the entity to prioritize the customer requests
    • Drive quality strategy of the entity in accordance with the Global Quality Strategy
    • Drive the relevant quality programs to ensure continuous improvement in the process and services of the cluster
    • Manage the QMS of the entity
    • Implement SE Quality policy, define CSQ roles, targets and objectives at the cluster
    • Consolidate Non-Quality Cost and drive improvement actions
    • Implement company policy, define roles, targets and objectives
    • Drive business/digital transformation in CCC
    • Create an effective and efficient organization
    • Develop revenue generation activities at zone level
    • Contribute to knowledge development planning
    • Evaluate and plan the resource needs based on service level agreements
    • Responsible for budget reporting for CCC
    • Coach and develop CS&Q talent. Identify potential talent outside the existing community and promote them as future leaders

    Senior Electrical Design Engineer

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer with comprehensive experience in power systems designs & control (/automation), and a strong background in both design and site services. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successful turnkey projects, technical leadership, and collaborative teamwork. Professional registration with ECSA is desired.

    • Lead and contribute to the design and engineering of power systems & control solutions for turnkey projects.
    • Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of electrical designs, ensuring compliance with relevant IEC standards.
    • Oversee and coordinate site services, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support during project execution.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs with overall project requirements.
    • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
    • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and demonstrate strong leadership in challenging situations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
    • Over 8 years of experience in the field.
    • Extensive experience in electrical power systems designs, protection & control, mostly in medium voltage distribution & transmission.
    • Knowledge of Schneider Electric or similar solutions is advantageous.
    • Knowledge in control & monitoring systems (SCADA) is advantageous.
    • Proven success in leading technically and playing a team player role within the business & in projects.
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant IEC,SANS Etc standards and best practices.
    • Professional registration with ECSA (desirable).
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
