As Payroll Manager you demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of payroll systems, while also having payroll management experience, a strong ability to lead, problem-solving, and analytical skills amongst others.
This position will provide daily operations management for UK (500 employees) and the rest of the EMEA- APAC region (8 countries with 200 employees addition). While this position requires a strong focus on UK, the role includes a global scope and presents an excellent opportunity for potential growth within international responsibilities and exposure.
You will work closely with the Payroll Director based in Baltimore and one other Payroll Manager in Paris and Sao Paolo, you would also provide backup approvals & support for the AMS payrolls.
You will contribute to Jellyfish's success by developing strategic direction and setting best-in-class standards for the payroll function. We expect the Payroll Manager to help automate processes and shift the function to be forward-thinking, and adopt best practices utilizing technological advancements.
This is an idea of your role
Overall responsibility for employee payroll related to UK, SA and all APAC countries
Point of contact for all country-specific and global projects which impact the payrolls
Maintain strong cross-departmental relationships, supporting/aligning objectives and keeping each other well-informed
Pay employees accurately and on time by overseeing the transfer of information to the payroll provider (TMF) and ensuring completion of payments
Provide superior customer service to all employees; answering payroll-related employee and manager inquiries within the expected time frame.
Ensure compliance with regional legal requirements
Develops procedures and audits to ensure data integrity
Leads continuous process and system improvements
Maintain accuracy of all payroll information by applying for necessary controls and approvals
Manage tax, benefit, and financial audits as they relate to the payrolls
Manage the resolution of all payroll tax inquiries
Manage payroll providers and other related suppliers
Provide backup approval and support for the France & AMS payrolls
Ensure mergers and acquisitions are integrated successfully
Working with the finance business partner of payroll to deliver accurate business intelligence, reports, and dashboarding
Manage pension and benefit enrollment/payments each pay cycle
Respond to employee queries via ticketing system in TMF/Horizon
Requirements
Important Payroll experience with strong expertise in UK Payroll Management
Fluent in English
Excellent communication skills
Excellent system and analytical skills
Strong client support, resulting in a positive employee experience
International payroll experience, especially EMEA
Basic knowledge of general ledger to support accounting inquiries and resolve reconciling items related to payroll
Payroll provider management experience (TMF is a plus)
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, often competing

About the Role
The role of the Recruitment Manager is to find and attract top talent within the digital marketing industry. This role will work alongside the wider Recruitment Team and support with the recruiting activity, specifically in South Africa and India.
Responsibilities
Obtain a strong and in-depth understanding of the requirements of the individual teams at Jellyfish in order to fully pre-screen and qualify suitable candidates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both passive and active technical candidates within the digital marketing sector across all of our specialist full service capabilities such as: Paid Media, Analytics, Engineering, Client Management etc.
Actively recruit for current vacancies as well as establish strong talent pools and facilitate a sufficient pipeline for Jellyfish’s ambitious growth plans.
Work on roles across several regions (South Africa, India, Israel, and additional markets as needed) in all sectors of the business, sending CVs and arranging interviews, whilst also ensuring timely feedback is provided to all candidates
Keep up to date with current innovative recruitment techniques in order for Jellyfish to stay competitive in the marketplace. Attend networking and industry events
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, as well as working closely with HR, whilst also providing ongoing support to the wider Recruitment team.
Requirements
What you’ll need
Experience of working in a digital marketing recruitment role, either with an internal recruiter role
Experience with using resourcing tools such as LinkedIn and Job boards.
Experience of successfully managing a high volume of positions
Experience with using applicant tracking systems
Demonstrated experience in managing 20+ roles across numerous geographies
