    Consulting – Human Capital - Digital Learning – QA Test Consultant

    Responsibilities:

    1. Test Process Evaluation:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive automation testing strategy. Analyse existing test processes and methodologies to identify areas for improvement
    • Identify opportunities for test automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Assess the effectiveness of current testing tools, frameworks, and practices.

    2. Automation Strategy:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive automation testing strategy.
    • Identify opportunities for test automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    3. Test Planning and Execution:

    • Collaborate with project managers and development teams to create test plans and test cases.
    • Execute test cases, report defects, and track their resolution.
    • Communicate defects to the relevant teams accurately and in a timely manner.

    4. Tool Selection and Implementation:

    • Research, evaluate, and recommend testing tools and frameworks suitable for automation.
    • Lead the implementation of selected tools and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.

    5. Test Scripting and Maintenance:

    • Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts.
    • Ensure the scalability and reusability of automated test scripts.

    6. Training and Knowledge Sharing:

    • Provide training and mentorship to team members on automation best practices.
    • Promote knowledge sharing across the organization to improve overall testing capabilities.

    7. Test Reporting and Documentation:

    • Generate detailed test reports, including test coverage and results.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test processes, procedures, and automation scripts.

    8. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing.
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance the test automation framework and processes.

    Required qualifications and experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Proven experience as a QA Test Consultant or similar role in software testing.
    • 3+ Years’ experience in a QA testing or software testing role, preferably automation testing.
    • Strong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or similar for scripting automated tests.
    • Proficiency in SQL and scripting database queries.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
    • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
    • Azure DevOps experience is a plus
    • Agile mindset

    Qualifications
     

    Required

    • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related
    • Industry-specific qualifications or an equivalent
    • 5+ years in SaaS implementation, with solid experience in implementing customer engagement platforms and CRM
    • 5+years’ experience as a solution or technical Architect, designing and implementing large- solutions on the Salesforce platform
    • Practical level knowledge of system integration, web and mobile design, business process transformation is an advantage
    • Solid understanding of integration technologies and patterns required for Enterprise technology transformation
    • Interpersonal communications skills, presentation skills and client interaction skills including relationship management

    • Understanding of the Salesforce technology stack and how to design multi cloud solutions
    • Experience in conducting research into clients’ use of Salesforce, producing a report of findings with recommended steps
