    Invigilators - Mbombela

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring students to ensure that there is no malpractice during the assessments.
    • Distributing answer booklets and exam papers to the students.
    • Ensuring that assessments conditions are always adhered to and meet the policy requirements.
    • Preparing the assessment venues to ensure that it meets requirements.
    • Providing support where necessary should an emergency arise e.g., sick student, fire evacuation.
    • Directing any queries that a student may have during the assessment.
    • Provide a detailed and clear report at the end of each session.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements:

    • Higher certificate/Diploma will be advantageous

    Lecturer - Logistics and Supply Chain - Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Deliver lectures and engage students based on module-specific requirements in line with module pacers.
    • Manage resources including academic materials and liaising with the Information Centre.
    • Update Learning Management System and provide feedback to students.
    • Engage and prepare students for assessments, identify at risk students, and develop assessments in accordance with Central Academic Team briefings.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Honours in logistics or supply chain (NQF Level 8)  Ability to teach Marketing or business modules will be an added advantage

    Academic Operations Officer (Online Centre)

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Student Registration and Admissions

    • Planning and oversight of the Registration Process.
    • Ensure that online registration is complete and correct and all relevant sections are signed.
    • Resolve all registration queries for all Online Students.
    • Create and maintain student records both digitally and hard copy.
    • Ensure all relevant supporting documents are uploaded on the Student Information System (SIS).
    • Ensure all documents are uploaded on SIS.
    • Maintain and control a proper filing/archiving system.
    • Admissions approval of all students.
    • Ensure student is registered and enrolled correctly.
    • Responsible to ensure compliancy with the relevant IIE Policies in terms of admission criteria.

    • Keeping assessment Log Sheets up to date and ensuring that lecturers return marked scripts and completed Mark Sheets.
    • Verifying that Mark Sheets correspond with marks on assessment books / Grade Roster report from LMS System.
    • Manage assessment timelines (marking and release timelines).
    • Managing the process for capturing and verification of marks.
    • Managing the moderation process both internal and external.

    Career Centre Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Management of the Campus Career Centre

    • Develop the campus career centre plan based on the Organisational Career Services plan
    • Contribute in setting graduate placement targets.
    • Monitor graduate placement targets
    • Implement career readiness workshops and monitor effectiveness
    • Contribute in the planning and execute 1st year Orientation and Annual Graduation
    • Ensure that Career Centre administration is up to date including reporting
    • Implement and monitor compliance to relevant policies and procedures
    • Manage and oversee the look and Feel of the Career Centre

    Business Development and Client Interaction

    • Market services of department to existing and new clients (prospective employers)
    • Identify new target markets and penetrate them effectively to get more specs

    • Conduct client visits-face to face or virtually.

    Student and Graduate Work Readiness Coaching

    • Monitor access of 1st year Students and Exiting students on the Student Career Development portal

    • Manage and monitor all documentation that is required during the coaching process
    • Schedule and roll-out of career readiness workshops to students and graduates
    • Source and invite industry speakers for coaching sessions

    Placements and Success Stories

    • Monitor and update the graduate placement worksheet
    • Monitor the placement process of prospective roles identified with potential clients
    • Support graduates during the placement process
    • Follow up with employer at the end of graduate’s first day of work

    • Deliver presentation pack to prospective employers who have placed our graduates

    Career Day and Entrepreneurship Workshops

    • Plan and execute Campus Career Days, Entrepreneurship workshops and Career Expos
    • Arrange guest speakers and manage logistics regarding these events and workshops.
    • Arrange with the marketing team for gifts, banners etc.
    • Profile all entrepreneurs and compile a database for all graduates who attended the entrepreneurship workshop

     Campus Visibility

    • Manage that success stories and events hosted by Career Services are posted on the visibility boards
    • Monitor and manage that part time jobs and any info related to employability are posted on the visibility boards
    • Enhance the visibility of Career Centre Services on Campus & the Career Centre office is equipped with information for students
    • Enhance the student Support and Career Services visibility on Campus
    • Manage the advertisement of career services activities on campus
    • Monitor involvement of the team in all campus activities

    Reporting

    • Compile reports and submit to the National Career Services Manager, Campus Head & National Career Operations Officer.

    People Management

    • Drive a high-performance culture by taking accountability for an effective and well-articulated performance management process
    • Conduct performance reviews in accordance with policies and procedures and take corrective actions where necessary
    • Providing strategic guidance in the implementation of human resources policies, procedures and practices
    • Lead the department by managing appointments, promotions, and industrial relations issues in conjunction with the Human Resources Support Service Unit
    • Build a robust, effective leadership pipeline, succession and capacity

    Educational Requirements:

    • Relevant 3-year Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Human Resources or Related Qualification
