Minimum Requirements

• Must be qualified in Health and Safety: COMSOC 1 & 2 / Nebosh international HSE Certificate. (SAMTRAC, SHEMTRAC or similar, with COSMOC or Nebosh being an added advantage)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Health and Safety in Quarry Mining environment
• Grade 12 and valid driver’s licence

 
Duties (will include but are not limited to the following areas)

• Overall coordination of the site’s Occupation Health and Safety
• Ensuring all legal appointments are up to date and in line with directives
• Conducting of PTO’s
• Plant task observation, safety inspections and reporting
• Coordinating of SHE meetings
• Risk assessments
• Standard operating procedures training
• Various surveys
• Ensuring all safety equipment are maintained
• Ensuring inspections on machinery are done

Requirements

• Minimum NQF level 6 – 4 Year Diploma in Information Technology, or related field
• At least 5 years in IT Support and Administration experience post qualification
• Completed certification of MCSE, N+
• Strong knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, 8, 10, Server 2008 R2, MSOffice Legacy and 365, Pandaware, Sophos, VMWare and PRTG
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work outside of regular business hours, as needed
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), are a plus.
