KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To manage and implement platform projects from conceptual phase to implementation.
• To design products/mold and/or make improvements/changes to existing products/components in line with market requirements and trends.
• To manage and implement cost reduction/quality improvement projects.
• To manage the productivity improvement (OEE improvement).
• To manage the automation system implementation on the presses.
• To ensure products comply to standard requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS

• Plastic mold technician or BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in 2D & 3D CAD drawing and modelling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in plastic part mold analysis.
• Experience in plastic part mold maintenance.
• A good understanding of plastic part mold design and plastic part production process would also be advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To execute and administer all export transactions within the policies and guidelines of the company
• Support Export Sales Manager to ensure what is forecasted is sold and shipped to respective customers
• Liaise with Supply Chain Factory Planning to determine stock availability and special production requests in line with sales forecast
• Processing all export shipments across multimodal transport means (road, sea, airfreight)
• Execute shipments from South Africa and Cross trade shipments from Arcelik and associate factories
• Liaise with export planners on orders, determine stock availability
• Maintaining optimum stock levels by managing export SKUs and aged stock
• Ensure trucks and containers are loaded efficiently and timeously
• Maintain customer satisfaction and smooth accurate documentation flow by adherence to export processes aligned with SARS regulations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and shipping / transport agents.
• Ensure all SARS regulations are adhered to.
• Sourcing lane studies to optimize costs.
• Support Export Logistics Manager as and when required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Supply Chain / logistics qualification.
• Minimum 4 -5 years’ experience in supply chain/logistics.
• SAP knowledge.
• Microsoft Office: Excel, Power point, word, MS Projects.
• Communication skills.
• Excellent administrative skills
• Language skills
• Financial acumen
