    Staff Engineer ( BPEL Developer)

    WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS ROLE:

    • Strong practical development experience with BPEL.
    • Experience in work flows, BO maps, XSLT transformations, XPATH and BPM technologies
    • Experience in BPEL flows, Mediation and Assembly modules.
    • Strong practical integration experience of business service orchestration, using BPEL, including strong integration domain knowledge.
    • Solid experience on integration protocols (e.g. Web Services (SOAP/XML) REST and the related SOA-security requirements.
    • Experienced on Rule Sets and Rule Groups.
    • Understanding of Short-running and long-running processes
    • Understanding of security pattern implementation
    • Ability to write elegant, readable, and well-documented code.
    • Passion for quality, an obsession for performance, entrepreneurial spirit and an attitude to disrupt and innovate.
    • Focus on Material Design principles and pixel-perfect implementation of design into code
    • Own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application.
    • Develop unit test cases for his/her project module.

    • IBM Websphere Process Server (BPEL) developer Should have good knowledge in: BPEL, Web services (SOAP/XML), WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Integration Developer.

    • Be involved in all aspects of development playing a critical role in design, planning, development and deployment, with real time feedback from our users to make the product better.

    • The role requires ownership, logical thinking, and estimation of your own work, coding, unit testing, trouble shooting and performance optimizations.
    • The candidate will work in an Agile (SCRUM) environment and will be allocated and co-located to a small agile development team (squad),Tribe and Chapter Model.
    • The candidate will collaborate with team members to understand the problem and define, design, and ship new features through the development lifecycle.
    • This includes brainstorm, contribution to new ideas, conceive innovative strategies, and implement solutions to difficult problems.

    Job description:

    • 10-13 years of experience in Designing, Architecting Mainframe solutions
    • Strong technical experience in Mainframe technologies viz. CICS, COBOL, DB2, JCL
    • Core banking domain experience. Experience in lending will be plus
    • Experience in end to end system, security, integration, and infrastructure design.
    • Strong technical acumen on how the technical landscape fits together
    • Broad understanding of end to end landscape and specialisation in banking domain
    • Architectural thinking and proven track record in decision making.
    • Strong financial background either fintech banking start-up or financial e-commerce.
    • Troubleshooting in software solution development.
    • DevOps experience and exposure to agile methodologies.
    • Experience in technical design modelling and methods.
    • Analysing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data for accurate design and implementation
    • Hands on experience on conceptual design and managing production of websites and portals
    • Working with relevant software development languages
    • Certifications: TOGAF Certification plus

    Role and responsibilities:

    • Analyse problems and formulate solution based on organisations boundaries, architectures and constraints

    • Understand constraints and risk and make the necessary trade-offs. Influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.
    • Craft the end to end solution taking into consideration: people, technology, systems and data.
    • Future proof end to end solutions as far as possible within the organisation constraints.
    • Continuously build and enhance the technical assets that are touched by the solution to ensure long term sustainability.
    • Grow the engineering lead practice through contributing to the engineering lead chapter.
    • Drive organisational alignment across areas of accountability and provide coaching, mentoring and upskilling of others within area of expertise.
    • Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values.
    • Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise.
    • Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy.
    • Seek opportunities to improve business processes, models and systems though agile thinking.

    Senior Developer (WPF/UWP)
