Key Areas of Impact:
Production lines and maintaining machinery
- Ensure operators carry out changeovers on machinery as per the relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Ensure operators calibrate settings on machinery as per the relevant SOPs. Record optimal machine settings and update machine files.
- Do problem solving on machinery as per the relevant SOPs to ensure that product quality and machine output are achieved.
- Escalate any continuing malfunctions after having followed standard trouble shooting.

- Log the cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment and machinery on the required logs as per the relevant SOP.
Good Manufacturing Practice and Health and Safety
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed as per the relevant SOPs.
- Use the correct safety equipment when needed as determined by individual work areas.
- Identify possible hazards, eliminating or reporting them to the Line manager or Health and Safety representative.

Industrial Relations
- Ensure that operators and packers adhere to the company policies and procedures.

- Report to the production controller any major individual or team problems within the team that have or could result in the disciplinary or incapacity procedure being used.
- Perform the necessary counselling sessions with team members when necessary.
