    Job Description

    • Motus Autoworx, a dynamic leader in the vehicle repair industry is looking, is inviting applications from honest, trustworthy and highly responsible candidates with relevant flatting experience to apply for the position of Flatter at our East London branch.

    Position Overview: 

    • The purpose of the position is to flatten vehicles after the repair process to ensure that a quality paint finish is achieved thereby assisting the branch with the achievement of its financial and service targets. 

    Minimum Experience:

    • 2 years' and more of relevant experience

    Minimum Qualification:

    • Grade 12
    • Technical Qualification - colour matching • B A Journeyman

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old)
    • An excellent command of the English language is essential, both verbal and written


    Job Outputs:

    • Checking all vehicles received from panel beating bay.
    • Checking all body parts for a smooth surface.

    Panel Beater

    Job Description:

    Position Overview

    • The purpose of the position is to take full accountability to repair accident damaged vehicles to the highest possible standards thereby assisting the branch with the achievement of its financial and service targets. 

    Minimum Experience: 

    • 2 years and more of relevant experience

    Minimum Qualification:

    • Grade 12 

    Minimum Requirements: 

    Technical Qualification -

    • B A Journeyman
    • Journeyman  
    • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old) 
    • Computer literate (basic level will suffice)  
    • An excellent command of the English language is essential, both verbal and written 

    Job Output: 

    • Checking booked in vehicles against the quotation.  
    • Assisting in the stripping of vehicles and checking the extent of the damage.  
    • Ensuring that striped parts are placed in the parts bin and stored in the storeroom.  
    • Ensuring after stripping that all damages have been quoted for and the correct parts are on the parts list  
    • Signing for parts entered storeroom. 
    • Setting vehicles up on a jig if required and pulling vehicles in a safe manner and exactly in line with manufacturers’ specifications. 
    • Removing dents on vehicles as specified on the job cards. 
    • Repairing damages as specified on the job cards.  
    • Cutting and welding panels and ensuring that all repairs are done according to manufacturers’ standards. 
    • Checking that the parts supplied are in fact correct as soon as they arrive and that all the parts have been received.
    • Checking that vehicles are repaired according to manufacturer’s specifications  
    • Checking that all welding is of the correct standard.  
    • Fitting new parts and signing off the quality of the repair before the vehicle is handed over to preparation.   
    • Checking overall quality of repairs before releasing vehicles to spray shop. 
    • Ensuring that all the equipment used is in good working order and safe.  
    • Booking hand equipment’s into the storeroom at the end of the day.

    Administrator Creditors (Motus VW East Rand)

    Job Description:

    • Administrator Creditors will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process for the company. This includes processing and verifying invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Full creditors function
    • Handling dealer and supplier queries and requests
    • Managing / checking / tracking of journals
    • Follow-up of invoices / statements not received.
    • Reconciling of invoices and statements
    • Responsible for Vendor age analysis
    • Valid credit applications for all debtors.
    • Valid reason/explanation to be provided for long outstanding items.
    • Ensure Vendors are paid according to agreed terms and conditions to manage cash flow of company.
    • Processing of EFT payments
    • Check that all invoices are accompanied by a statement and that balance brought forward is correct.
    • Forward proof of payments to suppliers when required.
    • Verify B-BBEE status with vendors.
    • Processing of journals.
    • Management of all payment cycle activities
    • Verifying the correctness of all creditor-related documents sent to Head Office
    • Ensure legal compliance of Tax invoices.
    • Requesting Statements timeously
    • Weekly meetings are to be held with dealers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry
    • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Drive , OEM systems 
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles

    Controller - Vehicle Stock - Nissan Parow

    Role Overview:

    • As the Controller for Vehicle Stock, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management of all vehicles at the dealership. This includes tracking incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accurate record-keeping, coordinating with sales and service departments, and conducting regular audits to maintain stock accuracy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and manage the movement of all vehicles in and out of the dealership
