    Factory Controller - Mosselbay

    A day in the life a Factory Controller:

    • Challenge assumptions in seeking cost improvements in factory. Seek for and support cost improvement opportunities, be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives, validate and review proposed savings.
    • Coordinate reporting of actuals (including organizing and overseeing timeliness and accuracy of period-end close and promoting ownership of data at source); and forecasts for the factory; ensure transparency of this process; follow up and monitoring of progress to close gaps, ensuring Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed.
    • Participate in business planning; prepare and coordinate the factory budget with factory management; Perform revisions or simulations if needed.
    • Develop, control and ensure robust evaluations of capital investment plans and requests.
    • Ensure clear control and visibility of assets and liabilities, including the development, implementation and compliance with internal controls.
    • Coach and develop the factory finance personnel as individuals and as a team, including career and succession planning.
    • Promote clear understanding of financial key figures and costing within the factory, including organizing training sessions for non-specialists.
    • Ensure full transparency of costs and financial impact to the organization of major or strategic decisions relating to the factory.
    • Organize internal and external benchmarking of factory performance and factory product costs.
    • Coordinate and be key contact for internal and external audits within the factory.

    What will make you successful?

    • Accounting degree / CIMA / CA(SA), 
    • Prior experience in Costing / Factory Controlling / Financial management in a factory environment.
    • 5 years working experience in FMCG.
    • Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers)
    • Proficiency in English and language of the market (where applicable)

    Human Resource Business Partner - East London

    A day in the life of an HR Business Partner:

    • Contribute to & Execute HR Strategy:  Contribute to the execution of the business plan through the creation (where appropriate) and implementation of the People Strategies that attract, develop and retain employees. Support the organisational short- and long-term business needs to drive competitive advantage and address opportunities and threats.  Drive flawless execution of Global, NiM and local HR Initiatives.  Co-ordinate and execute workforce planning for the specific customer unit.            
    • Organisational Design & Development (OD&D): Pro-actively challenge the established organisational structure of the customer unit to drive superior performance (taking account of Nestlé principles, policies & local business context).  Ensure people issues are a key consideration when discussing and planning business activities. Manage effective organisational transformation and change projects using best practice methodologies. Shape the culture to align with Nestlé goals & initiatives through supporting & coaching Line managers in their implementation of core people processes. Work with leaders to enhance current and future functional and leadership capability needs.          
    • Performance & Talent Management: Ensure Performance and Talent Management drive the achievement of business goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration and talent development.  Lead talent review/calibration to ensure high performance is rewarded and developed in line with the Management Development Cycle. Implement customer unit succession planning and talent management plans that support business goals. Ensure People Managers use tools effectively to assist individual and team performance improvement at all levels.  Coaches others to interpret, apply and communicate “Total Rewards” principles/policies/strategies.     
    • Employee Engagement: Establish and maintain effective win-win working relationships with managers, employees and their representatives through an environment that fosters communication and co-operation. Promote and foster a culture and environment that is productive, open, empowering, safe and equitable and coach others to behave and make decisions in line with Nestlé Management and Leadership Principles and Nestlé Corporate Business Principles. Responsible for compliance in HR (policies and practices).            
    • HR Organizational Alignment: Be the gateway for the business into the HR function to ensure Line Managers and Employees understand the HR model and can quickly and efficiently access solutions. Collaborate and provide business insight to CoE and CoS to ensure initiatives and projects are designed and implemented that support business people plans. Provide objective and timely feedback to CoE and CoS on the quality of service to ensure the overall HR service to the business unit meets or exceeded agreed standards.             
    • Functional Development: Work as part of cross functional / NiM CoE HR teams to develop HR practice and process developments that enhance the HR contribution to the business. Utilise continuous improvement in HR to develop functional efficiencies and ways or working.                         

    What will make you successful

    • Degree level education or equivalent
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a HRBP function in a factory
    • Exposure to Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment/Resourcing.
    • Leading and managing change through the effective use of organisation design, development and business transformation techniques.
    • Experience of working in Industrial and employee/labour relations. 
    • Success leading, coaching, and developing people in a high performing team environment e.g., performance management etc.
    • Effective influencing and coaching of leaders. 
    • Leading people and projects experience.    
    • Successful experience in contributing to the creation, implementation & execution of people strategies for a business, function or unit.
    • Worked within a Matrix environment, achieving results through effective influencing and collaborating
    • Range of experiences supporting different parts of the business in order to develop broad business acumen.

    • Manage manpower planning to ensure optimal operational execution and service delivery.
    • Drive bottom-up sales forecast and accuracy based on weekly and monthly reporting and analysis.

    Medical Delegate Nutrition - North West

    A day in the life of a Medical Delegate:

    • To visit hospitals and medical institutions in assigned territory according to the planned call frequency(detailing & presenting)
    • Apply Professional Negotiation Skills at an advanced level and use the appropriate product, concept knowledge and research to detail the NIN range to HCPs.

    Territory management

    • Manage the assigned territory of about 250 - 300 HCPs including HCI’s in assigned territory.
    • Achievement of field force effectiveness as per Master data management/HCP classification/ HCP and HCI segmentation, master schedule planning, HCP call rate, call strike rate and execution of territory action plans.
    • Execution of “hybrid/remote interaction model”.

    Compliance

    • Application of the Code Management system guiding compliance for all daily activities, to assist the leadership team to ensure that all activities within the team and region, comply with the WHO International Code for the marketing of Breastmilk substitutes, Nestle Instructions, and the local Code.

    Advocacy:

    • Ensure increased advocacy towards Nestle Infant Nutrition products and Nestle Nutrition services, when detailing to HCP's and HCI’s, through applying the acquired functional competency skills and key account management.
    • Seek and build strategic relationships with key contacts in both private and government sector.
    • Driving recommendation / advocacy at an Institutional level and with Health Care Professionals.

     
    What will make you successful?

    • BSc Dietetics/ Nutrition, Nursing, Marketing, and Business Management degree holder
    • 2 years’ experience in Medical Delegate role or a representative in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Experience with data management using a digital device and MS Excel intermediate experience required.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Must be able to speak English fluently– additional languages are beneficial.
    • Must have good planning, organizing, communication and negotiation skills.
    • Must be able to work independently, self-starter, solution orientated, adaptable and result driven.
    • Must be willing to travel (including trips away from home).
    • Computer literate, MS Office, MS Excel intermediate level with data analysis experience
    • Experience with virtual engagement.
