    Financial Manager

    We are seeking a skilled and strategic Financial Manager to oversee our financial operations and support business growth through robust planning, reporting, and compliance for our CFW group of companies.

    • Develop, manage, and align annual budgets with company strategy; conduct rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
    • Prepare accurate financial statements and quarterly management reports
    • Monitor daily cash flow, ensure sufficient liquidity, and optimize working capital through effective forecasting and controls.
    • Analyse fixed and variable costs and identify cost saving opportunities
    • Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures, conducting regular audits and reviews.
    • Maintain efficient and reliable financial systems, driving automation and ensuring data accuracy and system uptime.
    • Ensure all tax returns (VAT, PAYE, company tax, etc.) are submitted on time, while minimizing exposure and avoiding penalties.
    • Lead and develop a high performing finance team through training, performance evaluations, and clear role definition.
    • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision making, project viability assessments, and investment planning.

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA(SA) or equivalent preferred)
    • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis
    • Experience on Sage X3 is advantageous

    Senior Administrator

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Manage and reconcile petty cash, credit card, and fuel expenses, ensuring timely submission of supporting documents to Accounts.
    • Maintain accurate and traceable stock records; conduct weekly stock takes and ensure real-time system updates.
    • Fulfil stock picking requests and manage the receiving and dispatching of goods efficiently.
    • Supervise and support direct reports including Administrator, Driver, Housekeeper, and Store staff, ensuring productivity and performance.
    • Oversee staff timesheets, HR documentation compliance, and coordinate team events to support employee engagement.
    • Process sales and service orders from end to end, including documentation, testing, packing, invoicing, and dispatch.
    • Ensure full traceability of incoming goods and customer property; liaise with sales, servicing, and courier teams for smooth workflows.
    • Conduct monthly health and safety checks, maintain safety logs, and coordinate with external providers when necessary.
    • Oversee maintenance of building facilities and manage servicing and compliance for fleet vehicles.
    • Manage front office operations, including reception, walk in customers, and inventory of consumables, uniforms, and supplies

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Matric
    • A tertiary qualification is considered an advantage
    • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
    • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

    Financial Controller

    The company employs a diverse workforce with a strong skill set in engineering, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller that can assist the CFW Group of companies with the following tasks:

    • Manage and maintain fixed asset ledger.
    • Submission of VAT/PAYE returns.
    • Bank, credit cards and petty cash processing and reconciliation
    • Reviewing of bank reconciliations
    • Preparation of management accounts.
    • Balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Payments & cash flow forecasts.
    • Journal entries.
    • Intercompany charges calculations and co-ordination of invoicing
    • Review and assist with monthly creditors and debtors reporting
    • Review intercompany invoicing
    • Prepare stock and WIP calculations
    • Prepare schedules for external audit and assist with audit queries
    • Review and prepare property investment companies for audit
    • Assist with preparation of BBBEE information
    • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis
    • Assist in training and mentoring staff

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • A diploma, certificate or degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis
    • Experience on Sage X3 is advantageous
