    Agile Lead - Cape Town CBD

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support & coach Teams to understand the Agile Frameworks while promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while empowering their team to make decisions and take ownership of their work.
    • Preparation & facilitation of Scrum metrics presentations to senior management.
    • Assist in educating, guiding & coaching Scrum Teams in building and improving on velocity.
    • Help teams assess their ‘Scrum Maturity’ and achieve higher levels of maturity.
    • Improve transparency within the teams.
    • Assist in the removal of organisational impediments.
    • Build a safe and trusting environment where conflict can be managed in a healthy way without fear of blame.
    • Work closely with CTO and Development Managers to find bottlenecks in delivery in teams with the use of analytics and encourage innovation.
    • Keep abreast of Agile methodologies to promote ways to improve.
    • Be a part of an Agile Team to share knowledge and brainstorm ideas.
    • Manage/develop/improve on reporting and metrics for multiple Scrum Teams.
    • Help the scrum team to improve their process by observing and providing regular feedback continuously
    • Build relationships with Product Owners and other stakeholders to facilitate the team's interaction with them
    • Mentoring and coaching Scrum team to install Agile values and principles and lead by example
    • Keeping Scrum process on track and passing it to the team as self-organization matures
    • Coordinating across other agile teams for complex projects
    • Strengthen the presence of our team as an Agile Center of Excellence
    • Empower your team to self-organize
    • Assist with the development of custom Agile training for scrum teams, product owners and scrum masters.
    • Aid in the creation of an internal coaching program
    • Track adoption of practices and processes.

    Build team and people capabilities through:

    • Providing real-time, ongoing coaching and feedback to team members throughout the year
    • On-time completion of performance management activities including regular 1:1s and Bi-annual performance reviews through GPS
    • Supporting employee development including facilitation of career development conversations and crafting development plans for current and future needs
    • Taking action to hire and retain high-performers and address poor performance
    • Proactively manage change initiatives within the team including sufficient planning/ preparation and communication to minimise disruption and support employee adoption.
    • Role modelling the behaviours that support and drive the Flash culture and values

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+ years’ experience in Product Management or software development
    • 7+ years’ experience in Project Management and/or scrum master 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience in creating a culture of agility within an organization.
    • Experience using Agile/scrum metrics to improve team performance

    Hold a relevant Scrum Master certification:

    • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
    • Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or PSM II)
    • Thorough understanding of agile principles and procedures.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personality types.
    • The ability to work with non-tech teams in adopting Agile principles

    ADVANTAGEOUS:

    • Project Management and/or Technical Product Owner experience with the ability to apply this to multi-disciplined teams.
    • Intermediate understanding of Azure Boards & Power BI.

    Accountant (Temp) - Cape Town CBD

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure customers receive invoices and statements on time and that payments are received timeously.
    • Overseeing the creditor and debtor aging and ensuring accounts are kept up to date.
    • Follow up on Debtor payments and resolve all queries timeously.
    • Performing various commission and other calculations for month-end processing.
    • Work with large volumes of data in Excel for performing reconciliations and processing accounts.
    • Processing of cash book, month-end virtual stock, revenue, expenses, and balance sheet accounts.
    • Perform balance sheet reconciliations (all balance sheet accounts) on a monthly basis.
    • Processing month-end journals and preparing accounts up to Trial balance for month-end reporting.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance.
    • Relevant Degree preferred.
    • Financial software experience – Xero preferred
    • Knowledge of MS Excel (Advanced).
    • Information Monitoring experience.
