    Logistics Admin Support

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This role will contribute to our customers satisfaction by providing support with flexibility, speed and accuracy. The Logistics Admin position will be responsible for CS daily activities including but not limited to order processing, shipment tracking, resolving issues related to the warehouse with customers and other functional areas. Assist the Logistics Manager with the warehouse activities and providing day to day support (both proactive and reactive) on any issues, as well as responding to immediate/unusual situations.

    ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Track and trace shipments from suppliers
    • Update inventory tracking report, i.e. order pending export from supplier, in transit with freight forwarder / courier, inventory on hand, inventory dispatched
    • Investigate on short deliveries by freight forwarder / courier and resolve the matters timely
    • Escalate to Logistics Manager in case of received damaged items from freight forwarder / courier and keep accurate records to measure the damaged items %.
    • Collate all shipping documents electronically from Hach suppliers
    • Acquire approval for returned items from Logistics Manager, inform CP to return the items accordingly.
    • Ensure all documentation is captured and completed accurately and in accordance with standards set, completing the assigned administrative tasks.
    • Report any deviations to the manager immediately, maintain high level of attention to details covering inward and outward stock movements
    • Conduct monthly physical stock verification.
    • Ensure all reports are updated timeously
    • Adherence to all company policies and procedures with regard to the receipt, storage and handling of all materials.

    BACKGROUND, PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

    • 4+ years of proven experience
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal relations
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent interpersonal relations
    • Self-confident, hardworking and leads by example
    • A team player
    • Passion to serve
    • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
    • Proficiency in English

    • Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
    • Oracle (advantageous) and MS Office knowledge (mandatory)
    • Supply chain certificate (advantageous)
    • Language: Fluent English

    Store Picker & Packer

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This role will contribute to our customers satisfaction by providing support with flexibility, speed and accuracy to the internal and external customers. This position will be responsible for full inventory process from storage, picking and dispatch ensuring accuracy of data, as well as reporting any risk to the business via the logistics manager.

    Role Key Responsibilities

    • Executing all assigned tasks assigned diligently, as scheduled, with the highest standards and quality.
    • Receiving goods, unpacking, inspection , and validation
    • Ensure obtaining proof of deliveries.
    • Managing warehouse in terms of stock accuracy, timely receipt, and dispatch of material ensuring 5S is maintained.
    • Conduct monthly physical stock verification.
    • Working collaboratively with all team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
    • Completing a range of administrative tasks.
    • Ensure all customer orders are picked in the right quantity / quality to meet the customers needs and sales order requirements
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
    • Adherence to all company policies and procedures with regard to the receipt, storage and handling of all materials.
