    Manager: Lending Products and Pricing

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • The overall purpose of this role is to provide specialist advice and to execute and implement the Lending products and pricing strategy, implement the pricing policy and ensure alignment across bank.
    • The role is responsible for lending products and services that are sound, market competitive and appropriately priced for Agricultural Clients.The incumbent will support the team in the capacity of Manager: Lending Products and Pricing.

    Key Performance Areas

    Product Development and Pricing

    • Lead scenario testing and sensitivity analysis of various pricing assumptions and report on the results and advise on appropriate actions as-and-when required.
    • Lead the development and implementation of new rating and pricing models for existing and new products.
    • Produce appropriate calculation tools and/or quotation tools in collaboration with sales and operations departments and IT.
    • Provide specialist advice and support in defining standard operating procedures (SOP's).
    • Conduct research and gather data to provide input to operational reporting and decision-making processes.
    • Provide specialist advice to plan for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services to deliver on operational objectives.
    • Provide expertise to identify and develop solutions to improve quality of processes and services.
    • Translate the integrated medium term pricing strategy/design by dealing with the relevant stakeholders across the bank.

    Client / Customer Management

    • Provide advanced specialist advice and give input to the service delivery excellence practice optimisation.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders that contribute to a culture of customer service excellence.
    • Provide sound consulting services and recommendations based on customer and client needs, current information and trends analyses.

    Finance Management

    • Contribute to the effective reduction of cost and financial wastage in line with organisational policies and procedures.
    • Establishment, alignment and management of target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency.
    • Help the market meet its financial objectives by managing the P&L of the all-risk mitigating solutions in the portfolio.
    • Initiate and manage market research, data mining and quantitative analysis to ensure sustainability and future competitive growth.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Provide thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders, by giving lending product guidance and advice on pricing.
    • Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
    • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members.
    • Participate in forums that positively contributes to knowledge improvement.
    • Provide advice and support in the management of change and offer operational support where required.

    Preferred Minimum Education and Experience

    • Commercial Business Degree.
    • Knowledge of the banking industry 3 - 5 years.
    • Experience in designing and testing processes and controls 3 - 5 years.

    Manager: Core Banking and Client Channels

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • The role will entail the guiding of the strategic vision and overseeing of the creative process that underpins the relevance, suitability and sustainability of the bank’s core banking platform and its channels.
    • The role is responsible for the management of the P&L for all the allocated products and sub products in the portfolio and the commercial review thereof during the life span of the individual products.
    • The incumbent will be responsible to design and deliver products and services that are sound market competitive and compelling to Agricultural clients.

    Key Performance Areas

    Core Banking Management, Channel Development and Implementation

    • Build a product improvement & innovation roadmap for prioritisation and an initial view of the underlying commercial value and potential.
    • Understand the Product systems and process landscape end to end, ensuring that the current product landscape and architecture is mapped out, and deeply understood from a product origination point through fulfilment, processing, billing, servicing and revenue realisation and reporting.
    • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
    • Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress.
    • Manage designated product development projects from inception to final execution, including post implementation evaluation.

    Risk Management Platform and Channel Policies and Procedures

    • Stay on top of potential risks, and be adequately aware of the risk exposure of the business, keeping its internal operations in mind.
    • Identify risks, and evaluate them in terms of their plausibility and repercussions and curate risk mitigation and management policies to reduce the effectiveness of the risk.
    • Custom-make risk management processes as per the current standing of the bank, keeping in mind its future variations.
    • Ensure that all members of the product value chain understand processes, control requirements and risk management frameworks that have been designed for the area.
    • For audit findings that have an impact on the area, identify, sign off and ensure that all information required by the auditors are provided timorously.

    Market benchmark, Product Insights and their Financial Performance and Reporting

    Senior Specialist: Remuneration & Benefits

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To provide specialist support in the implementation and maintenance of the Bank’s remuneration and benefits frameworks, policies, and practices, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements, governance standards applicable to state-owned entities, and the Bank’s strategic objectives.
    • The incumbent is responsible for conducting detailed data analysis, developing remuneration dashboards and reports, and providing insights to inform remuneration decisions, workforce planning, and submissions to management and governance committees.
    • The role includes administering salary benchmarking, annual pay review processes, and incentive schemes, as well as participating in remuneration surveys to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
    • Strong analytical capability, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience in data visualisation are essential to produce accurate, insightful, and compliant remuneration information that supports decision-making across the organisation.

    Legal Advisor: Client Agreements - Vryburg

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To provide legal advice, legal opinion and solutions and manage legal risks as per the Regionolisation model to business units and branches.The position is located within the Regions to ensure effective client support..
    • The Legal Advisor will ensure legal compliance as well as manage the external resources and the draft and review of client agreements and contracts and other relevant legal matters. Review/checking of the conditions precedent to ensure compliance and sign off of same.

    Key Performance Areas

    Business Support and General Legal Advice

    • Custodian of legal agreements as applicable and responsible for developing and reviewing them from time to time to ensure legal compliance

    • Assist in Delegation of Powers (DOP) development and review
    • Drafting agreements and general legal assistance to the Bank as a whole including ensuring product compliance and alignment with the Bank’s policies
