    L2 SIEM Engineer

    Role Requirements 

    • Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
    • Sets up administrator and service accounts.
    • Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
    • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
    • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation of SIEM resources.
    • Provides advice and training to end-users.
    • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members and may have supervisory responsibilities.
    • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
    • Participates in special projects as required.
    • Deploy new SIEM logging, playbooks, device connectors as required to collect data feeds.
    • Provide capability to analyse SIEM output and interpret reports. 
    • Integration of data feeds (logs) into SIEM.
    • Perform content development to properly identify data feeding to the SIEM. 
    • Develop filters to assist in the identification of significant events.
    • Develop reports (manual and automated) to support the development, collection, and reporting of quality assurance and performance metrics (as defined by the client) .
    • Develop dashboards/reports for external customers for system monitoring. 
    • Provide ad-hoc training to analysts focusing on specific client missions, including generic SIEM training sessions and Custom Use Case training sessions.
    • Provide recommendations and implement changes to optimize SIEM products in the customer environment. 
    • Support the client in fact finding or case supporting tasks as it relates to SIEM. 
    • Evaluate relative SIEM product advancements and provide recommendations to the customer.
    • Identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives.
    • Provides technical support in the monitoring of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and enterprise anti-virus and software deployment tools. 
    • Develops implements, enforces and communicates security policies and/or plans for data, software applications, hardware and telecommunications.
    • Able to implement an Azure Sentinel SIEM solution end to end with the ability to leverage cost efficiencies from the Azure stack.

    Qualifications & Education Requirements 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications.
    • One or more of these industry Cybersecurity Certifications: CISM, CEH, OSCP, CompTiA Security Plus, as well any SIEM related qualification. The Microsoft AZ500 and SC200 qualifications will be highly advantageous.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Concise writing skills, excellent MS Word skills as well as other MS Office Applications.
    • Experience with securing various environments preferred.
    • Experience in working across security technologies.
    • Managed security services experience across complex architectures.
    • In depth understanding of the role of incident analysis tools.
    • In depth understanding of various types of log analysis.
    • Prior experience to advise, plan, deploy, configure, manage and monitor large scale and complex cyber defence and IT risk management and information or cybersecurity solutions  

    Experience Required 

    • Minimum of four (4) years of work experience and two (2) years of relevant experience in SIEM engineering in a Security Operations Center [SOC] 
    • Two years’ experience implementing Azure Sentinel SIEM solutions.

    Cyber Security Incident and Performance Manager

    Role Requirements

    • Overseeing incident management and ticket performance for MSS and Global SOC Teams
    • Co-ordinating incident response for P1/Sev1 incidents originating from the SOC
    • Provides assurance reporting on case/incident performance as well as MSS and SOC customer requests

    Creation and review of the following:

    • Service Schedules including related MSS and SOC SLAs
    • Incident Response Plans including RACI's
    • Runbooks relating to ticket management
    • Standard operating procedures relating ticket management
    • Form templates to gather customer information required for onboarding to SOC security services
    • Provide assistance and thought leadership in relation to backend support systems
    • Provide reports conveying key metrics around incidents to management in order for them to make strategic decisions as well as to derive improvements which can be made to minimise risk in the future.
    • Based on data collected from ticketing systems and team performance, apply analysis to determine root cause of deviations from SLA’s and performance standards, and then make suggestions to management on remediation actions to be taken. And once remediation strategy approved by management to then guide internal security team managers  to accomplish these goals.

    Qualifications & Education Requirements

    • One or more these industry Cybersecurity Certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Computer Security Incident Handler (CSIH), CEH, OSCP, CompTIA, CYSA+
    • ITILv4, COBIT, Change Management or equivalent ITSM service assurance Qualification
    • BRM Foundations

    Experience Required

    • Minimum of eight (8) years of work experience and three (3) years of relevant experience in information security/cybersecurity/networks
    • Two (2) years of experience with working with cybersecurity incidents.
    • Experience with a incident ticketing system such as BMC Remedy or Service Now.
    • Experience with task and document automation technologies
    • Experience with leading firewall, network scanning and intrusion detection products and authentication technologies.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Concise writing skills, excellent MS Word skills as well as other MS Office Applications.
    • Strong reporting development skills. PowerBI will be advantageous.
    • Experience with securing various environments preferred.
    • Experience in working across security frameworks such as NIST, MITRE Attack and Lockheed Cyber Kill Chain.
    • Experience in working across security technologies.
    • Experience in working with diverse groups of people.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
    • Certifications or qualifications relevant to the software industry. (Advantage)
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partner management, or related roles within the software industry
    • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing partnership agreements with ISVs or technology vendors.
    • Deep understanding of software solutions, cloud services, and technology platforms.
    • Strong business acumen demonstrated by the ability to conceptualize, develop, and execute commercial strategies attuned to the African market.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decision-making and strategy development.

    Cloud Solutions Architect - Google Workspace

    Description

    • A Google Workspace (GWS) Cloud Solutions Architect transforms business objective into tangible Google Workspace configurations, policies, and security practices as they relate to users, content, and integrations.
    • This includes, among others, the GWS solution life cycle – GWS SKU selection, design, management, and monitoring of the solution that meets the customers’ requirements.
    • The incumbent is responsible for defining tasks, scope and effort obtained during customer engagement session and the subsequent production of high level and low-level design documents and other technical project related artefacts. This extends to the delivery of hands-on, business-oriented strategic and technical consulting to our clients for GWS solutions. 

    Qualifications

    Experience

    5-10 years experience in:

    • Extensive experience in architecting enterprise public cloud solutions
    • Experience of working in a project team using an identified project management methodology
    • In-depth knowledge of various IT and or Telecoms technology architecture domains and convergence.
