Job Description    

• Novus Holdings is hiring a Group Financial Manager to lead financial activities, group reporting, budgeting and forecasting ensure accurate accounting processes and maintain financial controls that drives financial excellence across the business units throughout the Group.
• This strategic role supports the CFO, oversees financial operations and ensures regulatory and statutory compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Lead consolidated group financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure tax compliance
• Ensure adherence to JSE -Listing Requirements, Companies Act, SARS, King Code & CIPC requirements
• Support divisional finance teams and maintain internal controls
• Prepare accurate financial and regulatory reports
• Monitor group cash flow, investments and treasury functions
• Execute board subcommittee tasks and secretarial duties
• Oversee B-BBEE scorecard and verification process

Educational Requirements    

• Chartered Accountant registered with SAICA – Essential

Experience Requirements    

• At least 4 years’ experience as financial manager or similar experience
• Manufacturing or publishing experience will be advantageous

Job Description    

• The Novus Print division has a proud legacy, which includes the highest level of manufacturing excellence, first mover in new technology and solutions-orientated offerings. • Novus Print: Paarden Eiland is seeking to appoint an Electronic Technician within the Technical and Engineering department to ensure the execution of electrical and electronic installations and maintenance.  The successful incumbent will report to the Technical Foreman.

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Responsible for the execution of project driven electrical and electronic installations and maintenance according to SABS regulations
• Assess the maintenance and electrical requirements of jobs assigned and allocated
• Execute and attend to electrical maintenance tasks, equipment and breakdowns
• Adhere to safety procedures, operation of equipment and report unsafe practices
• Regularly conduct plant inspections and carry out planned maintenance schedules
• Conduct monthly safety inspection of equipment
• Providing technical support to the mechanical and production departments
• Fault inspection of machinery including PLC, AC and DC drives

Educational Requirements    

• N6, T3 or S4 certificate or equivalent electrical trade qualification

Experience Requirements    

• At least 5 years’ experience within an electrical/electronic maintenance environment is essential
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, electrical regulations as well as applicable municipal by laws
• Knowledge of and exposure to fault finding and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment will be an advantage
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems 
• The incumbent must have gained skills and knowledge in a FMCG environment in the following areas: printed circuit board to component level;PLC programming; project management; AC and DC drives and experience working with contractors and suppliers
