• The Cashier/Administrator’s primary purpose is to provide administrative support to our operations.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Accurately identify commodities/correct grading and weigh commodities as the grade specifies
• Ensure that an accurate weighbridge ticket is generated after every transaction
• Ensure accurate weight deductions are made for all bins, crates, trolleys, bakkies, etc. for all weighbridge tickets
• Accurately process all weighbridge tickets
• Count and reconcile cash each day
• Accurately pay scrap customers and dealers
• Managing large cash receipts and payments accurately
• Effective and efficient time management
• Generate and maintain various reports
• General office administration

Qualifying Experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Basic Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and Microsoft Office)

• Code 08 driver’s license with own vehicle essential

• The Truck Workshop department currently has a vacancy for a detail orientated, process-driven, dedicated individual to join their team. This position requires someone who is able to work in a fast paced, demanding and pressurized environment.
• Our comprehensive in-house technical facilities, staffed by Qualified Engineers and Artisans, are responsible for our fleet and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, inspecting, repairing and maintaining our fleet and equipment.

Qualifying Criteria

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Newly/Recently Qualified Diesel Mechanic Red Seal Trade Test certificate
• Code 10 Drivers License and valid PDP

Job Description

• The Engineering Department currently has a vacancy for an attentive to detail, self-motivated and dedicated individual to join their team in the Fitters department, in the Hydraulic section specifically.

The Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Conducting mechanical inspections on all production machinery when required
• Compliance and adherence to the Company in-house maintenance program and procedures
• Responsible for conducting routine planned and preventative maintenance
• Hydraulic systems (leaks repairs, Filter change outs, hose replacements)
• Conveyor belts, drives, pulleys and replacement of rollers
• Lubrication tasks
• Knowledge of working on cranes Palfinger, Hiab, Fassi etc.
• General housekeeping
• Attend breakdowns when required on all Production machinery & Fleet of Trucks
• Fault finding on hydraulic systems and ability to read schematics
• Assembly and pressure testing of hydraulic cylinders
• Servicing of various hydraulic components, power packs, valves etc.
• Provide coaching to semi-skilled staff

JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Assistant (GA) will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Efficiently offloading all materials from customer bins, crates, trolleys, bakkies, trucks etc.
• Accurately sorting materials/commodities for relocation to stock stations/areas in the yard at all times
• Ensure that trucks are properly packed and loaded and that no material is compromised or hanging over the truck when required to do so
• Ensure that all materials are removed from the scale before commencing next transaction at all times
• Assist with preparing and packing bale bags for stock taking when required to do so
• Liaise and assist Branch Manager with various ad hoc duties i.e. stock taking etc. when required
• Identify any stolen or inferior material/commodities to the Branch Manager immediately at all times

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

• A minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• 2-3 years applicable working experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Aliminium works department requires committed, hardworking and trustworthy individuals to join the team as Furnace Supervisors. (SHIFT POSITION)

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• In-depth and general operation of furnace
• Constant monitoring of furnace parameters
• Set flame density, temperature
• Oversee the feeding as well as housekeeping of the furnace
• Assist the line manager with ad hoc duties
• Management of the Furnace equipment and operational procedures
• Manage quality standards in accordance with set targets and guidelines

• Team supervision to ensure smooth operation of the shift
