Job Purpose:
- To assess and understand in situ rock mass, grade and structure, and provide geological models for mine design planning, resource modelling, evaluation and survey purposes.
The Appointee should:
- NQF 8 - BSc (Hons) in Geology
- At least 5 years’ experience in a related role, of which 2 years should have been at a supervisory level or experience in a functional/specialist area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Geology Management Manage the Geology Section teams, systems and processes Analyse and interpret Geological data and reports and take corrective actions as required Provide effective problem-solving support to the Geology teams Participate in the daily Geology meeting Plan and manage Mining resources (personnel, equipment and materials) as required Maintain and update the Shaft schedule
