    IT Administrator

    MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

    • Install and configure of Laptop/ Desktops
    • Ensuring Laptop/Desktop patches are up to date and applied
    • Upgrading of Laptop/Desktop firmware as they get released
    • Limited profile/password functions e.g. password resets
    • Assisting new users
    • Maintaining Printer
    • Update Contact list on Ozone portal
    • Remote Support to Users
    • Log call with Dell for laptop related issues
    • Able to support Mobile devices, configuration of Sandblast Connect and Sanblast Protect on mobile devices.
    • Pre-setup of Desk for new starters
    • Follow-up with users on daily reports where actions required e.g. reboots
    • Follow-up with users where software patches must be applied e.g. Google Chrome, Apple patches etc
    • Ensure that information security system conforms to the requirements of ISO 27001 within the responsibilities  assigned to the role.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Matric;
    • Diploma in IT / Relevant tertiary qualification
    • Must have a car and valid driver licence

    Financial Manager

    MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

    Strategic Management:

    • Provide strategic input regarding various aspects of the business processes and long-term business plans.
    • Ensure that the organisation’s financial systems, procedures and controls are effective and operating as designed.
    • Oversee, manage and guide a team of finance professionals.

    Revenue Management and Collections:

    • Full management and oversight of the revenue business cycle and monthly billing runs.
    • Management of the billing department team with responsibility for their growth and performance.
    • Oversee monthly billing of clients as per client MSAs and requirements.
    • Notify clients of price increases or changes to their contracts.
    • Manage the collections process whilst monitoring payment terms and account suspensions.
    • Working with clients to resolve queries.
    • Reporting on revenue and debtors accounts to management.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Prepare and manage the annual budgets for projects and statutory entities.
    • Monitor and manage the cash flow requirements of the organisation and the individual projects.
    • Operational budget management and cost control.

    Financial Management and Reporting: 

    • Manage and maintain the financial records of the organisation.
    • Verify the accuracy and quality of financial information.
    • Ensure statutory compliance by implementing policies and procedures that pertain to the financial management of the organisation in terms of the Company’s Act, Vat Act and the Income Tax Act.

    Annual Financial Statements:

    • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
    • Disclosure and accounting treatment in line with IFRS.
    • Statutory accounts administration for group subsidiaries.
    • Working alongside external audit to ensure an efficient and timely financial audit.

    Taxation and statutory compliance:

    • Performing preliminary annual and provisional tax computations and assessments, including indirect taxes
    • Working with tax advisors in finalising tax computations and regulatory filings
    • Verification of monthly VAT calculations for submitting for filing with SARS. Ensuring operating effectiveness of Sarbanes-Oxley controls applicable to the revenue cycle

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • BCom / BAcc, or equivalent 3-year tertiary qualification in Finance
    • Preferable: Qualified CA (SA) or CIMA
    • 3-6 years’ experience in a Financial Manager role

    Senior Software Developer

    MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

    Development

    • Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software applications.
    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and internal standards to be implemented by the Application Development Manager.
    • Conduct advanced debugging, optimisation, and performance tuning.
    • Integrate software with APIs, databases, and external services.
    • Lead complex technical initiatives and influence architectural direction.
    • Review code for quality, correctness, security, and performance.
    • Identify and resolve technical debt, vulnerabilities, and production issues.
    • Provide on-call or after-hours support where required for critical systems.
    • Mendix development – Feature Requests, Bug Fixes & Business Project applications
    • Troubleshooting user issues and resolution for all in house developed software systems.
    • Help developers solve technical problems
    • Understanding of Integration with other systems using Web Services
    • Ad-Hoc understanding of other programming languages
    • Working with Agile Planning tool within the Internal Development team
    • Working with Business Analyst & Test Analyst to ensure development delivery is on schedule
    • Ad-Hoc Testing of Development teamwork
    • Analyse the existing software systems, hardware systems, data, and business strategy and document an IT Roadmap for Mendix software applications, including hardware considerations.
    • Prepares for database expansion by studying plans and requirements; advising senior technical management; coordinating design and programming.
    • Keeps senior technical management informed by preparing reports on system performance and problems. Upgrade hardware and software by assessing transaction processing and database production options.
    • Maintains database performance by troubleshooting problems.
    • Accomplishes platform upgrades and improvements by supervising system programming.

    Internal Business Support

    • 2nd Level Business Support on all Internal Business Applications
    • Liaising with business on bugs and fixes of Internal Business Applications
    • Working alongside other departments to ensure applications are bug free and developed to the optimal development standards
    • Ad-Hoc training for business users
    • SharePoint - development and/or configuration of SharePoint, testing and UAT as per user requests
    • Mentor junior and intermediate developers, providing guidance, training, and best-practice coaching.
    • Participate in technical interviews and talent development.

    Information Technology

    • Manage risks associated with access to the information assets/systems.
    • Document and ensure Solution Architecture is as per good IT practice.
    • Ensure reliability and quality by writing unit tests, integration tests, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
    • Contribute to automation, monitoring, and observability improvements.
    • Participate in deployment planning, release management, and post-deployment support.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Matric
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
    • 5–8+ years of professional software development experience.
    • Proficiency in one or more major programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, Mendix, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
    • Strong knowledge of database design (SQL/PostgreSQL).
    • Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated testing.
    • Understanding of Agile development methodologies
    • Knowledge of internet protocols eg. SNMP, SMTP & IMAP preferable
    • Knowledge of systems integration using REST & SOAP Web Services

    Preference will be given to candidates who have:

    •    previous software development experience and understanding of rapid development tools;
    •    a certification in Rapid development tools (eg Mendix Rapid Developer)
