    Tax Compliance Officer (Corporate Tax)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Gather and collate tax related information from the audit and accounting department & clients in order to complete the following corporate returns:
    • ITR14
    • IT14SD
    • IRP6, 1st, 2nd and 3rd
    • DTR01 and DTR02
    • WT002 returns and reconciliations
    • Prepare the ITR14, IT14SD returns and supporting documentation and IRP6 returns
    • Prepare corporate tax computations and review computations prepared for tax compliance
    • Reconciliation of assessments (include objections and appeals)
    • Attend to all related Queries / Objections and Appeals, SARS queries, SARS objections and appeals(N00, NOA, ADR1)
    • Apply for tax clearance certificates (Good standing and Tender) via SARS efiling
    • Complete DWT returns (DTR01 & DTR02) as well as WT002 monthly , bi annual and annual returns
    • Ensure quality control of the corporate returns by preparing a completed Corporate Check List when preparing returns for review
    • Achieve the yearly KPI’s set out in the following areas:
    • Productive hours
    • Tax returns submitted / outstanding
    • Fees billed
    • WIP management
    • Register clients for Income Tax with SARS (IT77C)
    • Manage individual productivity by achieving the agreed productive hours

    Minimum Requirements

    • At least 1 - 3 years relevant tax compliance experience with specific emphasis on Corporate/Companies’ tax compliance
    • Grade 12
    • Tax or other relevant BCom qualification with Accounting 3 and Tax
    • Workable knowledge of key elements of the Income Tax Act e.g. Capital Gains Tax, General Allowances and Special Allowances, etc.
    • Experience SARS efiling
    • Able to gather information, analyse problems and write reports
    • Able to remain efficient when under pressure
    • Deadlineorientated with minimum supervision required
    • Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload and numerous client portfolios

    Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Process and reconcile monthly client transactions from source documents
    • Review monthly client transactions
    • Produce monthly management account reports and statutory returns (VAT)

    • Review annual compilation working paper files

    Minimum Requirements

    • Qualification: Recognised 3 year degree as per the SAIPA/SAICA requirements
    • Minimum experience: At least 5+ years experience within an accounting / auditing environment of which 2 years in a senior role;
    • Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles: Required
    • Professional membership: Required

    Company Secretarial Senior Administrator

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Have at least 3-5 years of experience in company secretarial supportive role
    • Intermediate knowledge of the Companies Act
    • Prepare company secretarial documentation for Companies and Close Corporations
    • Capturing info in Greatsoft
    • General administration work that may be required for both Annual duties and CoSec
    • Electronic filing on CoSec documentation drive

    Senior Accountant

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Gather client information
    • Prepare annual working paper files (including tax computations)
    • Draft annual financial statements (AFS) on Caseware
    • Process and reconcile monthly / bi-monthly client transactions and produce management accounts as required
    • Produce and submit client statutory returns (VAT) and resolve SARS queries
    • Budget vs actual analysis and reasons for overruns
    • Perform independent review engagements in accordance with the review standard (ISRE2400)
    • Resolve review queries from Assistant Manager/Manager/Partner and do final entries as per Partner’s finalisation
    • Manage individual productivity and budgets (include completion of timesheets)
    • Provide Sage/Caseware/Xero support to clients upon request
    • Foster, build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients

    Minimum Requirements

    • Recognised 3-year degree as per the SAIPA/SAICA requirements
    • 4+ years of experience in an accounting/auditing environment, completed SAIPA/SAICA articles is preferred
    • Professional membership preferred

    Senior IT Auditor

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support in planning and preparation for IT Audit engagements, including scoping the work to be performed and running planning meetings with the client.
    • Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
    • Coaching and supporting junior team members in discharging their responsibilities and having a sufficient understanding of audit methodology to do so.
    • Manging work of both themselves, and their junior team members to ensure engagements are delivered by the deadline date.
    • Time management on engagements, and tracking the time spent by the engagement team to the deliverables that have been produced and the original budget.
    • Analyse business, financial and IT systems, and other data processing problems to identify risks and improvements in computer systems and IT- enabled business processes.
    • Assist clients in strengthening internal controls and improve IT and business performance. Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents.
    • Ensure high quality of work by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors and managers of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
    • Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
    • Demonstrating the ability to discuss and resolve audit issues and recommendations with client management.
    • Demonstrating thorough understanding of complex information systems and applications to client situations.
    • Demonstrates good communication skills with providing progress updates to both clients and peers.

    Minimum Requirements

    To qualify for the role, you must have

    • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, information systems, business and/or another related major.
    • Program and project delivery skills, including design and reporting.
    • Pursuing, information systems auditing certifications or accounting designations such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM),
    • 2-3 years of experience in the field of IT auditing, IT Security, information technology operations or internal audit.
