    Assurecloud Microbiology Analyst, Midrand

    Some responsibilities may include:

    • Conduct simple and complex test independently.
    • Verification of results independently and interpret data against known sources of information.
    • Improve laboratory efficiency.
    • Ensuring adherence to departmental TAT’s and early warnings to direct supervisor of any delay on TAT.
    • Cleaning and disinfection of equipment.
    • Responsible for upkeep of laboratory instrument and notification to management of calibration and service requests.
    • Ensure that all analysis and related tasks are performance in accordance with OHS and Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures.
    • Implementation of quality TAT corrective actions for area of responsibility.
    • Maintaining acceptable proficiency scores for work conducted.
    • Ensure correct stock levels are maintained effectively for testing.
    • Managing consumable costs.
    • Timely completion of all reporting requirements and responses to any team member as required.
    • Other duties as assigned by the company within the Employee’s scope of work.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma in Biotechnology or BSC Degree in Microbiology.
    • 1-2 years’ experience in microbiology laboratory.
    • Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.

    Assurecloud Audit Administrator, Midrand

    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensure all audits are planned within the required period to ensure monthly budgets are met.
    • Ensure planning of activities is efficient in order to minimize cost i.e. flights and accommodation.
    • Assist invoicing for the previous month is submitted to finance within the cut of deadlines set by finance in order to meet the forecasted budget.
    • Strict adherence to the turnaround times on audit reports including the capturing of micro results and mailing them to the client is to be as per agreed SLA.
    • Respond to client queries or complaints received on the project, both positive and negative and provide feedback to management and the client.
    • Compiling of monthly scheduling on assigned region and submitted a month prior for approval.
    • Ensure tracking of audits for all clients are done daily.
    • Attend client meetings and ensure the actions required are taken timeously.
    • Respond to any client mails on the day of the mail received as confirmation if further investigation is required and provide a deadline for the final feedback and ensure the deadlines are met.
    • Conduct audits when the need arises to ensure the service delivery is met.
    • Any changes to the schedule and planning related to your project is to be communicated to the person responsible for updating the schedule.
    • Assist with day to day operational functions as requested by the service line manager.
    • Ensure auditors on your projects have the required equipment to conduct the audits.
    • To verify and approve claims
    • Brand promotion by being courteous and professional at all times.
    • To maintain a good standard of personal health, safety, hygiene and appearance.
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Other administrative duties, as and when required.

    Requirements

    • Tertiary qualification in Sciences field.
    • 1-3 months working experience in a food safety inspection, certifications or testing enviroment.
    • Strong working experience on Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
    • Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.

    NAIS EHS Officer, Kusile

    Requirements

    Mandatory (MUST)

    • Clear Criminal record to be submitted with application (MIE Check)
    • Shall be registered with Statutory Body, SACPCMP, as Safety Officer
    • Minimum 5 Years experience as SACPCMP as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
    • Minimum of 5 Years experience as Safety Officer on ESKOM Sites
    • A recognized safety certification (minimum: of 2 weeks training) (e.g. SAMTRAC / Modern SHEQ Management course)
    • OH&S Act and Regulations (latest version of the Act and regulations);
    • COID Act (latest version of the Act);
    • Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Technique;
    • Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Training;
    • Health & Safety Auditing;
    • Environmental Compliance Recognized Course;
    • Emergency Preparedness Coordination Training;

    Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)

    • National Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Health
    • ISO 45001 Implementation and Auditing Courses
    • Power Plant Construction & Commissioning experience
    • ESKOM Plant Safety Regulations (PSR) experience
    • Clear Criminal Record (This will be verified)
    • Medically Fit
    • Own Transport
