    Medical Sales Representative (East Rand)

    What you will do:

    • Design appropriate strategy to achieve sales goals and targets in assigned territory
    • Achievement of sales, market share and growth objectives in the region.
    • Maintain high customer call rate, strike rate and territory coverage target.
    • Compile and update sales operating plan for region.
    • Identify new business opportunities;
    • Arrange and run CME events;
    • Establish and maintain KOL relationships in the area
    • Attend all relevant trade conferences as required;
    • Attend cycle meetings and conferences.
    • Must complete country trip and day trips in the area

    Qualifications:

    • A Degree in Biochemistry OR pharmaceutical Sciences OR Human Physiology OR Marketing is essential.

    Experience Required

    • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience doctor detailing is essential, esp in the East Rand
    • Experiences having dealt with Gyneas, GPs AND Specialists in the following disciplines in the Jhb EAST RAND
    • will be an advantage : Cardiovascular/Diabetes, Aneasthesia and Womens Health .
    • Strong sales track record and sound organizational skills
    • Knowledge and relationships with key stake holders in region will be an advantage
    • Established KOL relationships and specialist relationships an advantage
    • Good communicator and self-motivated

    Senior Financial Analyst

    What you will do:

    Planning and Forecasting

    • Assist with the LBE/Plan process by collating all guidelines from area and division.
    • Coordinate the information collection process from various departments.
    • Maintain the calendarized P&L, performance, and exchange variance model per country.
    • Maintain the departmental and promotional expense planning models per country.
    • Maintain the standard cost calculation model and relevant analysis of duty, freight, and clearance costs.
    • Electronic upload of the LBE/Plan information.
    • Assist in planning and forecasting.
    • Prepare monthly closing reports.
    • Support margin improvement initiatives.
    • Prepare and report capital expenditure budgets.

    • Manage P&L and balance sheet transactions.
    • Conduct regular balance sheet reviews.

    Business Partnering

    • Prepare detailed expense variance analysis reports for EPD cost center owners.
    • Actively partner with cost center owners to monitor expenses and formulate action plans to ensure adherence to plan and LBE targets.
    • Support the business with ad-hoc analysis as required.

    General

    • Assist with internal and external audit queries.
    • Perform ad-hoc analyses and reports as required by the business.

    Qualifications

    • Required:Completed BCom Accounting degree with 5+ years of Senior Financial Analyst experience.
    • Candidate who is a registered CA or Eligible to register as a CA is essential
    • CIMA is advantageous and may be considered.
    • Preferred: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, leadership abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to influence and motivate others.

    Contract ( FTC) - RA Specialist

    Responsibilities

    • Support and develop regulatory submission plan for the region in terms of IVDR transition project in collaboration with Global RA IVDR project team, Legal manufacturing sites, supply chain, marketing, commercial and Distributor countries;
    • Assist to manage applicable change control projects for regional team by working closely with relevant manufacturing sites and other functions to obtain all necessary dossiers to support product registration, or amendment to existing product certificates and maintain database with risk escalation if necessary.
    • Report submission status (IVDR, Change Control) via defined Key Performance Indicators into necessary database;
    • Secondary support as backup towards local Regulatory Affairs matters as applicable.
    • Track applicable regulatory milestones in internal Regulatory database;
    • Represents RA and/or APAC at relevant meetings such as IVDR meetings or change control meetings;
    • Support Abbott strategic Quality and Regulatory Affairs Goals and objectives.
    • Monitor developing regulations and gather regulatory intelligence that may be relevant to the business. Conduct impact assessment and disseminate as appropriate to key stakeholders.
    • Ad hoc duties as deemed necessary for the position and business

    Qualifications

    • BSc or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs in Medical Devices, ideally in IVDs
