    Parts Salesperson (Underberg)

    Description

    • Provide over-the-counter sales and administration functions of parts stock

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 1-year sales and administration experience.
    • Parts sales experience is essential.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Ensure stable availability of stock by ordering stock in line with branch procedure.
    • Conduct regular stock counting and stocktaking.
    • Responsible for stock control and stock rotation of old stock and new stock.
    • Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external clients.
    • Identify and timeously resolve customer queries and complaints.
    • Ensure accurate cash balancing.
    • Ensure that payments of accounts are timeously processed and collect payments by accepting cash, credit cards, etc.
    • Process sales and returns in accordance with the established procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with risk and safety legislation requirements.
    • Ensure that stock is kept in a safe condition

    Technical Advisor - Ruminants (Pietermaritzburg)

    Description

    • AFGRI Animal Feeds requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results-driven candidate to be appointed in the above-mentioned vacant position who will be responsible for selling of AAF ruminant feed through technical knowledge and value-adding activities on a farm.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
    • B.Sc (Agric) Animal Science
    • M.Sc (Agric) Animal Science will be an advantage
    • 5 years sales and marketing experience in an animal feed company.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Regularly visit existing clients and prospective new clients
    • Maintain an updated client and prospect database 
    • Provide technical advice on the product range 
    • Measure progress on sales budget, monitor the expense budget, identify budget deviations and submit weekly/monthly budget reports
    • Oversee the placing of orders at factories    
    • Liaise with factories to determine challenges related to product quality, product delivery, and product collection and recommend corrective measures where applicable   
    • Manage and reconcile customer accounts on a monthly basis
    • Evaluate and provide feedback on competitors, product quality and product performance    
    • Determine market potential and customer needs as well as price determination in accordance with the agreed schedule
    • Provide weekly/monthly feedback on tons gained and tons lost
    • Attend marketing and social events to track potential clients

    Compliance Administrator (Centurion)

    Description

    • The Compliance Administrator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end administration of hire purchase, term loan, and BCA accounts. The role ensures accurate processing of financial transactions, completeness of compliance documentation, and efficient management of disbursements, journals, and account adjustments.
    • The incumbent plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance, and delivering responsive support to internal stakeholders and clients.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS    

    • Grade 12
    • A relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial administration or compliance support role within a banking, lending, or financial services environment.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Prepare Hire purchase and security documents to Relationship Managers.
    • Disbursements of Hire Purchases, Term loans and BCA accounts.
    • Generate journals on loans and BCA accounts.
    • Run debit orders on loan accounts.
    • Ensure documentation packs on Hire purchases and Compliance are complete and correct.
    • Ensure all filing is done timeously and daily follow-up of outstanding documents.
    • Attend to all enquiries regarding Hire purchases, Term loans and BCA accounts.
    • Daily proceeds payments from Grain and cession acknowledgements of cessions from banks and other financial institutions.
    • Calculate interest adjustments on Loans and BCA accounts.

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
