    Senior Project Manager

    Purpose of the Job:

    • To manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple, major projects (Project Value in excess of 15 million) by applying project management standards, tools and techniques to deliver projects, in line with scope, budget and timelines.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Set up Project / Programme Management Office

    • Assist the Programme Manager with the delivery associated governance framework, operating model and processes, ensuring that the regions objectives are met in line with scope, quality and time

    Project Management

    • Defines Project Critical Success Factors (CSF)
    • Deliver projects on time within budget and that any variances are managed correctly
    • Manage the coordination of program’s components, the relationship with other programs and the interface to business development and business portfolio management
    • Set and agree on the objectives for Commercial & IT Projects
    • Report on the status of all projects: Change control, change requests, as may be required from time to time
    • Manage the interdependencies between all projects
    • Guide business departments with planning and scheduling
    • Keep track of contractual deliverables
    • Ensure that projects adhere to the agreed EPMO Framework, Policies, Processes and Procedures
    • Implement and manage project risk and deliver agreed reporting and escalation thereof to the business risk management and audit functions
    • Manage resources allocated
    • Oversee and monitor/track processes against respective process performance baselines, identify gaps and provide improvement suggestions
    • Track success of above-mentioned improvement suggestions
    • Act as point of escalation for late delivery of project milestones (e.g. documentation)
    • Manage, facilitate and communicate the impact of project changes (scope, cost, time)
    • Provide regular reports and feedback to relevant project stakeholders. Project and requirement status, forecasting, budget, expectation management, escalation and roadmap as needed
    • Communicate risks associated with projects with the relevant project owners and sponsors
    • Manage delivery expectation and negotiate delivery timeframes
    • Manage conflicting ideas and decisions specifically pertaining to Business requirements vs. technical suitability/capabilities

    Vendor Management

    • To effectively manage the delivery, governance and communications with all relevant vendors
    • To ensure that all contractual obligations are being fulfilled

    Business Service Strategy

    • Enhance and maintain policies, processes and procedures within project implementation (Agile)
    • Remain current with industry trends and initiatives (Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile methodologies)
    • Implement new and improved methodologies on an ongoing basis to ensure continuous improvement
    • Provide business leadership throughout the project life cycle
    • Participate/plan the prioritization process of all requirements received from the requirements of Managers

    Mentorship

    • Lead cross functional teams
    • Provide an advisory and support function
    • Initiate appropriate Labour Relation action required within section
    • Uphold HR policies and procedures
    • Facilitate personal and professional growth of others within the business area by sharing personal knowledge, skills, information and insights that have been learned through the years
    • Create opportunities and conduct activities for collaboration, goal achievement and problem-solving to help less experienced persons in the business area to perform their job more effectively and/or progress in their career

     Communication

    • Drive collaboration within the cross functional project team
    • Facilitation of team and customer meetings
    • Deliver informative, well-organized presentations
    • Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

    Cost and Budget Management

    • Develops and implements cost saving measures to optimise Project Capital Cost requirements
    • Manages approved budget for each project
    • Makes recommendations for budget-affecting change requests
    • Informs Senior Management of potential under/overspend timeously
    • Benefits realization tracking for 3 months after technical and commercial launch

    Perform any other related duties as requested by Management

    Minimum Qualification

    • Bachelor’s Degree - related qualification - NQF Level 7
    • PMP, Prince2 Certification - Project Management stream

    Experience

    • 6–8 years’ experience in technical project management, or similar technology-enabled business, including at least two to four (2 - 4) years’ experience in a middle management role
    • Experience in project team management (matrix management)

    Business Continuity Analyst

    Purpose of the Job:

    • The successful incumbent will be expected to provide subject matter expertise knowledge and guidance in the implementation and maintenance of a business continuity management system for Cell C, with a primary focus on the technology continuity management / resilience programme. The incumbent will also be expected to partner with internal and external stakeholders on any other relevant initiatives that seek to improve the company’s resilience posture.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Technology continuity programme management

    • Provide SME support in the establishment of technology continuity frameworks and processes in support of the broader business continuity management system
    • Ensure that technology continuity considerations are incorporated into relevant business-as-usual processes, e.g., service architecture, change management, procurement, etc
    • Ensure the establishment and implementation of technology continuity controls in line with industry standards and best practice
    • Ensure awareness creation on technology continuity amongst relevant stakeholders and general personnel

    Technology continuity programme implementation

    • Drive the implementation of a technology continuity programme to enhance the ability of the Cell C technology environment, systems, and services to withstand and recover from disruptions
    • Ensure the alignment of the technology continuity requirements from the business with Group Technology’s capabilities
    • Ensure the implementation of a proactive approach for the identification and treatment of technology continuity related risks and single points of failure, in alignment with established Cell C enterprise risk management frameworks
    • Support the design / selection and implementation of appropriate technology continuity strategies and solutions
    • Facilitate the establishment of technology continuity / incident management structures and teams
    • Facilitate the development of technology continuity plans
    • Support the documentation and maintenance of system technical recovery plans
    • Provide support to the information security teams for the implementation of appropriate incident management capabilities
    • Ensure the establishment and approval of an annual technology continuity test and exercise schedule and plan
    • Support the implementation of the test and exercise plan
    • Ensure the documentation of test and exercise results, and the implementation of applicable remedial actions
    • Assessing new systems and ensuring adequate resilience and disaster recovery capability

    Business continuity

    • Facilitate Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment processes in conjunction with Cell C business units
    • Facilitate the design and implementation of business continuity strategies and solutions
    • Partner with business units and Enterprise Risk Management for the management of identified risks
    • Maintain incident management structures and teams
    • Ensure the documentation and maintenance of business continuity plans
    • Provide support to incident management teams during disruptions
    • Ensure the implementation of a BCM training and awareness programme for all relevant Cell C stakeholders
    • Ensure the implementation of a business continuity test and exercise programme
    • Conduct business continuity capability reviews for critical third parties (i.e., vendors, partners, etc.)
    • Proactively and timeously provide business continuity management attestation to relevant third parties
    • Maintain the Cell C alternative means of communication arrangements
    • Support business continuity champions on all business continuity related queries

    Emergency Response

    • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Cell C emergency response
    • Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans for all Cell C facilities
    • Support Cell C retail stores to implement and maintain adequate emergency response capabilities
    • Support the testing and exercising of emergency response arrangements for each Cell C facility

    Crisis management

    • Support the development and maintenance of a crisis management plan for Cell C
    • Support horizon scan processes for the anticipation of potential crises
    • Support the exercising of crisis management capabilities

    Administration

    • Ensure effective administration and maintenance of Business Continuity Management documentation
    • Compile relevant reports on the Cell C business continuity management system for tabling at appropriate forums
    • Provide support with relevant administrative tasks, e.g., meeting bookings, note taking, etc

    Minimum Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in the fields of Technology, Telecommunications, Information Systems or equivalent/ related fields
    • Business Continuity Management certification (CBCI/ MBCI/ ISO22301/ ITIL/ COBIT)

    Experience

    • Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ related experience in business continuity with exposure in Cloud, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity
    • Experience interfacing with Senior Leadership and different levels of management in executing BCM
    • Proven track record in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a Business Continuity plan within a technology environment and the related governance compliance
    • Hands-on experience conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), Risk Assessments, and developing Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs)
    • Experience in managing external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, vendors, and third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with resilience and continuity requirements
    • Relevant experience in telecommunication industry with proven exposure in telecommunications network architecture, data centres, cloud computing and IT infrastructure will be advantageous
