    Hospital Receptionist

    Job Summary:

    • To plan and coordinate the end-to-end management of reception and administrative tasks for the hospital in alignment with Group quality standards.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Certification in Office Administration or Secretarial studies / NQF Level 5.
    • Conflict resolution strategies
    • Interpersonal skill
    • 1-2 years in general office administration

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Answer, screen and direct the telephone/switchboard

    Registered Nurse

    Job Summary: 

    • The Registered Nurse will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practice.

    Minimum Qualifications and experience:

    • Nursing degree / diploma with Psychiatry.
    • Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
    • BLS qualification.
    • Post registration experience preferred.
    • Previous experience in a private hospital environment advantageous.
    • Computer proficiency.
    • At least 2+ years’ experience in psychiatric ward.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC Acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD). Supervise, organize, lead and control quality of care work for self and team adhering to therapeutic standards and goals.
    • Actively participate in internal and external auditing processes, for example DOH, National Core Standards, SHERQ, SANC and Risk Audits.
    • Document and maintain accurate files and records of patient medication and conduct ward rounds including accompanying Doctors and other Medical Practitioners for creating and evaluating customized care plans including implementing.
    • Monitor activities of nurses to ensure compliance with protocols, security, safety of patient environment, Group Nursing policies and procedures, SANC requirements on findings through regular unit rounds.

    Senior Data Engineer

    JOB SUMMARY

    • We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and platforms. This is a hands-on technical role with strategic impact, ideal for someone who is passionate about building robust data infrastructure that powers analytics, automation, and decision-making in a hospital group.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

    Minimum Experience

    • Minimum 5+ years in data engineering, with proven experience in data warehouse design and development.
    • Experience in building scalable data infrastructure and integrations.
    • Advanced SQL knowledge and working with RDBMS such as SQL Server, and
    • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • SQL Server (Advanced): T-SQL, CTEs, window functions, schema design, performance tuning.
    • SSIS: Lookup, Merge Join, Conditional Split, Derived Column, incremental loads.
    • Python: pandas, SQL alchemy, API integration, automation scripting.
    • Workflow Automation: SQL Server Agent, Windows Task Scheduler, PowerShell.
    • Cloud & DevOps (Bonus): Azure Data Factory, CI/CD pipelines.
    • Deliver & Mentor: Build and enhance robust data pipelines, manage real-time and historical data migrations, and guide junior data engineers.
    • Strong SQL development, data modelling, and data governance skills.

    DELIVERABLES

    • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS, and Python.
    • Automate data ingestion from SAP, APIs, and external databases into a centralised data warehouse.
    • Optimize SQL Server performance through indexing, partitioning, and execution plan analysis.
    • Develop and manage SSIS packages with advanced transformations and dynamic workflows.

    Ward Clerk Wellness Ward

    Job Summary:

    • To provide administrative support to the Unit Manager (and the Nursing team) of an allocated unit thereby contributing to the overall success of the unit and meeting both internal and external customer expectations.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Requirements:

    • NQF 5 / Relevant Nursing Qualification.
    • Computer literacy.
    • SAP experience.
    • Stock Control.
    • ICD 10 Code and CPT coding ability.

    Minimum Experience:

    • 2 years administration experience.

    Added Advantage:

    • Healthcare professional qualification.
    • Finance-related qualification.

    DELIVERABLES:

    • Maintain the patient register (Patient list and white board) to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate by documenting admissions and discharges to the unit – this involves reconciling the white board with the SAP system every 2 to 4 hours.
    • Establish and maintain an accurate filing system of all relevant documentation (patients’ documents, minutes and audit documents, for example).
    • Print new checklists at the beginning of each month for fridges, emergency blood, emergency trolley and environmental purposes.
    • Order stationery (bulk) on allocated days and inform Unit Manager when there is a problem with the availability of stationery.
    • Perform any reasonable administration task on instruction from the Unit Manager.
    • Compare number of patients in allocated unit with Occupancy list and make necessary adjustments (e.g. bed movements, transfer of patients to another unit and discharge of patients) on the approved system.
    • Capture all materials (surgical and ethical consumables) from charge sheets / mobile billing.
    • Capture all services i.e. gases (oxygen) and equipment from all charge sheets on the approved system.
    • Assist in conducting cycle counts for the ward and manage stock credits to the Pharmacy.
    • Ensuring adequate stock levels in ward.
    • Ensure suitable arrangements are made in terms of patient transfers.
    • Ensure that all patients are discharged on the system and compile files with complete patient details.
