    IT Auditor | Internal Audit | Internal Audit (8120)

    Responsibilities

    Continuous Auditing:

    • Collaborate with the audit team by using software solutions to explore data sets.
    • Identify areas where audit testing can be automated.
    • Assist in automating audit test procedures and completing working papers.
    • Ensuring that CAATS projects are repeatable (through setting up data feeds, scripting and process execution documentation).
    • Execute and report on completed CAATS projects.

    Standard IT Audits (performed with assistance):

    • Understanding of IT risks and controls
    • To develop and update risk-based audit programmes for the allocated audit area.
    • To execute the risk-based IT audits (e.g., IT projects, application systems, general IT controls, IT Security, databases, technology platforms)
    • To identify and evaluate significant risk exposures relating to the control processes and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
    • Providing project risk assurance services, as well as completing developmental audits with regular follow ups and reporting. Coverage may include new development initiatives, infrastructure projects, data conversions, web projects, business analysis and testing, as well as relationships with technology vendors.
    • Writing reports including communicating findings to senior management
    • Assisting in promoting risk awareness throughout the Group
    • Performing IT audit action item follow-up testing

    • Financial Services exposure would be advantageous. Experience with tools such as IDEA, ACL or SQL would be advantageous.
    • Knowledge of IT Frameworks e.g., COBIT, ITIL, CIS etc.

    Service Desk Analyst (8087)

    Responsibilities
    1st Line resolution of IT Incidents and Service Requests via Voice, Email and Self-service portal support channels.
    Access management of in-house and 3rd party applications.
    Assess and determine prioritization of Incident and Service Requests based on impact and urgency.
    Indexing and routing of support tasks to Servicedesk, 2nd and 3rd line IT support teams.
    Identify and coordinate P1 and P2 Incident resolution.
    Adhere to agreed SLA (Service Level agreements).
    Create, maintain, and publish relevant support documentation to assist in the quick time to resolution of incidents and service requests.
    Adhere to the reactive and proactive follow up procedures regarding open Incidents and Service Requests.
    Process & Quality Assure employee movements linked to Onboarding, Crossboarding & Offboarding service requests.
    Facilitate monthly IT Login session for all new starters.
    Recommend efficiencies to existing processes and provide input to new procedures by identifying trends and irregularities in workflow processes.
    Identify and Implement controls to mitigate risk.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Service Desk environment with experience in providing IT support using the following applications:
    • Active Directory
    • Windows 10/11
    • Office 365
    • Microsoft Authenticator for 2FA
    • Mimecast
    • Printer Support
    • SCCM for remote support and software deployment (Advantageous)
    • McAfee / Trellix (Advantageous)
    • VPN - Global protect (Advantageous)
    • Azure Virtual Desktop (Advantageous)
    • ITSM (Advantageous)

    Your purpose as an investment service consultant in Retail Client Services:

    • Your role as an investment service consultant is to engage in intellectual and comprehensive interactions with our clients via our various servicing channels while actively participating in the firm’s drive for service excellence. Your interactions will be all encompassing and may include (but not limited to) discussions on products, processes, transactions, tax and legislative implications, our investment philosophy, industry trends and performance of our unit trust funds.

    Your purpose as an operations consultant in Retail Operations:

    • Our Retail Operations teams process transactions from clients and provide administrative support for the firm’s retail investment offering.  Our operations consultants are responsible for ensuring that all incoming instructions are responded to and processed within a specific timeframe and regulatory framework. Operation consultants interact with clients and advisers to provide updates on transactions and to follow-up on any pending instructions, while maintaining a high level of service excellence.

    Qualifying criteria

    • Final year students currently completing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce or Business Science, with majors in, but not limited to, Finance, Economics, Investments, Mathematics and Statistics, Engineering.
    • Strong, consistent academic track record across matric and university.
    • Students who are eligible to work in South Africa and start their career between December 2024 and February 2025.

    D365 Intermediate Test Analyst (Manual)|12 Month Fixed Term Contract (8104)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Extracting test requirements for user stories,
    • Designing and creating test cases,
    • Estimating effort for testing tasks,
    • Manual testing of applications, which includes front-end, system integration, regression, and end-to-end as well as exploratory testing,
    • Managing and maintaining manual regression test suites,
    • Product risk mitigation, thereby limiting defects in production,
    • Collaborating closely with developers and business analysts in identifying, logging, and verifying defects in a defect tracking system,
    • Collaborating with other teams in INST IT for integration testing.
    • Assist in production support issues and queries.
    • Liaise with IT Ops and other Domains for support tresolve or assist with fixes.
