    Hatchery Maintenance Manager - Johannesburg

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Manage and control the maintenance processes involved in the Hatchery on an Operational level
    • Managing staff in a disciplined and effective manner
    • Achieving hatchery targets and objectives
    • Maintaining 20 keys
    • Managing strict bio security measures
    • Preparing budgets, managing and controlling running expenses
    • Ensuring the highest product quality/ hygiene standards is always maintained
    • Adhering to Health and Safety requirements and laws

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • Matric or equivalent qualification
    • A relevant Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Hatchery or 3 years’ in a similar role
    • Technical/ Mechanical Background in a Hatchery Environment is preferable
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Knowledge, understanding and application of current labour legislation
    • Must be computer literate
    • Fluent in English and an additional official language

    Experience and Qualifications

    • A B-Com Financial degree 
    • Credit Management qualifications would be an added advantage.
    • A Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior credit manager role. 
    • 10 Years minimum experience within the credit environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Credit risk mitigation: Implement strategies to mitigate credit risk, such as insurance, letters of credit, or guarantees, to protect the company's financial interests.
    • Credit policies and procedure management: Develop and implement credit policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage credit risk and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
    • Credit compliance and creditworthiness: Evaluate the financial status of potential customers to determine their credit risk and establish credit limits.
    • Monitoring Accounts: Monitor customer accounts and payment histories to identify delinquent accounts, proactively address payment issues, and minimize bad debt risk.
    • Collections Management: Oversee the collections process, including sending reminders, contacting customers for overdue payments, and negotiating payment arrangements.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on credit performance, aging accounts, and bad debt exposure for management review and decision-making purposes.
    • Customer Relations: Build positive relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments, resolve credit disputes, and maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal requirements, credit laws, and industry regulations while managing credit operations to avoid legal issues or penalties.
    • Technology and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Routine maintenance on all Rendering Plant equipment
    • Dealing with all unscheduled processing interruptions resulting from breakdown
    • Full control of production processes and responsibility for maintaining production standards

    Sales Representative - Wholesale - Cape Town

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for: 

    • Establishing strong relationships with all Wholesale, Independent and Catering Customers
    • Professionally respond to all inbound sales inquiries
    • Interaction with Liaison Manager for new business opportunities

    The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

    • Computer literate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
    • Excellent administration and problem-solving skills;
    • Ability to work under pressure and swift resolution of queries within the scope of the role
    • Basic understanding of the 20 Keys concept is essential;
    • Able to work independently and have attention to detail
    • Self-motivated with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
    • Ability to work within a team environment is a key requirement
    • Able to multi-task and assist with other duties within the department as assigned from time-to-time
    • Must be bilingual with reference to the customer base
    • Grade 12 qualification is essential

    • Sales experience in the FMCG sector is essential and within the Poultry industry is a great advantage
