    Manager: Change Management Office

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • Serve as Vodacom Group ASOC lead for Change Management by overseeing and governing the technology change management process and providing change management and user access management services to specific Vodacom group markets.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Govern the Change Management Process
    • Leading the Change Management Office team and operations
    • Contribute to the management and operation of the Change Management System
    • Manage Named User access
    • Contribute to Audits
    • Participate in compliance management for Risk Management, Business Continuity Management and ISO9001

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric / Grade 12 essential
    • 3-year Graduate degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications  or equivalent diploma essential

    • 7+ years playing a leading role as senior Change Manager essential
    • 4+ years of mobile network and IT skills essential

    Specialist Solution Architect

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • The role of the Specialist: Solution Architecture responsible for designing and leading the implementation of products and services within CRM and Provisioning domain according to the overall digital vision and target architectures.  
    • This role is responsible for the technical analysis and holistic solution design of future capabilities and features, including external dependencies, cross-domain APIs, and technical enablers / stories.
    • This role is responsible for reviewing the target architecture vision and roadmap, evaluating and prioritizing roadmap items, and translating them into designs and non-functional requirements.
    • The incumbent is responsible for providing support to the CRM and Provisioning Delivery team to ensure development of technical stories are aligned to defined architecture paradigms, principles, and patterns.
    • This role involves working with vendors and reviewing, challenging, and enabling excellence in proposed design, technology choices and effort estimates.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Together with the Senior Specialist Solution Architect, translate the overall digital vision and target architecture into corresponding solution designs and change requirements for CRM, Order Management and Provisioning core stack systems: ICAP, SRM, Porting Engine, CIM, EIM, SCP.
    • Design end-to-end solutions and cross domain integration and APIs
    • Define non-functional, operational, and quality requirements for solutions
    • Define technical stories to enable business capabilities, fostering use of existing components, and accept technical features following demos
    • Collaborate to plan the release of technical stories
    • Provide guidance to delivery teams to ensure alignment
    • Facilitate solution compliance to security, privacy, and regulatory needs
    • Manage technical debt and technology obsolescence at solution level
    • Advocate adoption of new technologies into solutions
    • Provide impact assessment of new features/requirements across application landscape
    • Review vendor design, technology choices, effort estimates and adherence to business needs
    • Support and drive resolution of technical requests and investigations related to the CRM and Billing domain that require input from the development delivery area

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric / Grade 12 essential.
    • 3-year degree or diploma in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field 
    • 3-5 years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment essential. 
    • GSM/Telecoms related experience is highly desirable

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    • DevOps practices and automation tools
    • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills, with high levels of creativity and a practical approach that is principle-driven
    • Solution architecture and design
    • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
    • Experience in business capability modelling and technical and solution architecture development in a digital business context
    • Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, and BDD
    • Experience in software delivery and support 
    • Professional experience and knowledge of digital and Telecommunications industries advantageous
    • Knowledge of CRM and provisioning (telecommunications) advantageous
    • Feasibility analysis
    • Business capability / customer journey architecture governance in agile software delivery 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to distil complex technical concepts into simple terms, with strong persuasion skills to gain support for principles, standards and change
    • Excellent relationship building, teamwork, and collaboration skills that enables the provision of effective support and guidance across programmes
    • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple urgent and important priorities

    Business Manager

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    The role of the Business Manager will report directly to the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships and should have a strong financial background and good project management knowledge as well as an in-depth knowledge of the business and industry.

    • To increase the available time and agility of the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships in order to focus her time, effort and priorities on strategic initiatives
    • To act as liaison between the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships and other stakeholders both internal and external
    • To be responsible for all the data reporting needs within Financial Services to integrate into Exco and board reports
    • To assist the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships with various functions ranging from pro-active financial analysis to business
    • Project management.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Support the Chief Officer’s Office

    • Ensure on-time and within budget Financial Services deliverables
    • Promote a service mentality and develop strong relationships with consumer, business and technology areas
    • Support alignment of activities and objectives across Financial Services requirements
    • Deliver actionable measurement for all impacting projects and initiatives
    • Lead world class measurement and improvement model for the analytical and operational teams across Financial Services
    • Manage creation of consistent and integrated improvement
    • Resolve problems and mediate disputes before it is escalated to the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships where possible
    • Facilitate the dissemination and receipt of key information by working closely with the Financial Services Chief and leadership team
    • Represent the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships in meetings and action decisions / deliverables as mandated from time to time

    Financial review and analysis

    • Work closely with the Finance Business Partner to analyse and interpret financial information to ensure that Financial Services operates within budget  requirements.
    • Prepare executive summaries and updates on expenditure/cost against deliverables
    • Proactively engage with Financial Services leadership on operational and reporting items as required from time to time
    • Monitor the implementation of cost saving initiatives

    Reporting and Governance

    • Ensure a sound reporting framework is in place which is aligned to the Vodacom / Vodafone standards
    • Work with key stakeholders to design and develop and an automated dashboard that displays the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships KPI’s and is fit for purpose
    • Ensure that good governance principles are adhered to with the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships office
    • Co-ordinate and drive monthly reports and reviews as required by the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships with a focus on critically filtering and prioritising key pieces of information
    • Prepare the necessary documentations and presentations as required for internal and external audiences by prioritising and validating information that facilitates sound decision making
    • Evaluate commercial information and recommend compelling value propositions
    • Provide analysis and reporting for Exco and Board of Directors
    • Ensure business decisions are implemented and executed within the approved and accepted governance framework

    Ad hoc requirements

    • Oversee and deliver on strategic projects in the office of the Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships as aligned to the strategic roadmap impacting all functional areas viz EBU; CBU; Technology etc.
    • Monitor progress on allocated projects deliverables

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric / Grade 12 essential and
    • Minimum of 3 year relevant Degree/ National Diploma or is essential
    • Business related courses completed is essential
    • A business related MBA is strongly preferred

    Minimum of 8 years relevant experience essential:

    • Managing functional responsibilities at a senior manager level within a Corporate environment
    • Project management
    • Managing / building relationships at Executive level
    • Providing financial analysis at Executive Management level
    • Minimum of 2 years Leadership/Management experience (an advantage)
    • Manage and give inputs on behalf of Chief Officer: Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships

    Knowledge:

    • Detailed understanding of governance and decision making across the business
    • Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tool
    • Working knowledge of the fundamentals of financial analysis and budget process
    • Thorough understanding of the ICT Market and in particular, Telecommunications products, services, technologies, and business processes
    • Strong business acumen
