    Corporate Secretarial Supervisor

    Job description

    Description of Role

    This role is a legal role. Candidates will need to be up to date with current corporate legislation and relevant regulations. Compliance with EY Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Minute taking support and all duties related thereto (calendar/diary management for meetings, agenda preparation, board pack preparation, meeting attendance, minute taking etc.)
    • Corporate secretarial compliance as relating to new company registrations, annual compliance/annual returns, amendments to Company and Close Corporation records at the CIPC, amendments to Trust records at the Master of the High Court as required in terms of the Companies Act and Regulations and the Trust Property Control Act and Regulations
    • Assistance to the audit team to perform the annual corporate secretarial audit as part of the external audit of an entity
    • Effective communication with client base including requests for information, following up and collecting of relevant engagement information, preparation of documents for signature/registration, submission/filing of documents with the CIPC/Master's Office etc
    • Administrative duties including invoicing/billings

    Desired Skills and Experience
    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum 5 Years Corporate Secretarial experience in corporate environment
    • Minute taking support experience
    • BCom / CIS or equivalent would be an advantage

    Manager - Business Tax Services (QS)

    Job description

    Description of Role

    Manager required to provide TAX consulting to corporate clients.Current experience is required for this role.You will be dealing with corporate clients and providing adviceregarding their TAXfunction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Providing tax consulting advice to corporate clients
    • Involvement in client pursuits (i.e., research tax opportunities, help identify new clients, attend client pursuit meetings, draft proposals etc.)
    • Develop new tax solutions
    • Achieving revenue targets, assisting with billing

    Desired Skills and Experience
    Qualifications & Experience

    • CA (SA) with HDip Tax
    • 2 - 5 years experience in corporate tax
    • Exposure to the big 4 (or top 10 audit firms)
    • Demonstrate experience of successful client handling and revenue generation in tax consulting environment (not compliance or tax audit)

    Skills and Behavioural Attributes

    Proven superior tax technical ability. Ability to communicate and interact at all levels. Teamplayer, self motivated and driven. Project management skills: budgets and work in progress. Ability to cope under presssure and deadline driven. Excellent planning and time management skills.
