Job Purpose

The sourcing of appropriate stock through the optimisation of supplier relationships and co-achievement of key dials within the category.

Key Dials
- Achievement and optimisation of Key dials.
- Determine the strategy of the category with the respective business unit.
- Optimisation of supplier relationships.
- Deal with customers in a customer centric manner.
- Effective self-management and teamwork.
Education and Experience
- Grade 12
- Relevant business degree/diploma advantageous
- Buying and/ procurement and/ manufacturing experience
- Supply chain knowledge
- MS Office proficiency
- Technical specialist experience within category

- Knowledge of JD Group policies, practices, processes and systems
- Expressed and implied ethical responsibilities
