    Business Development Manager

    Job description

    We are searching for an experienced business development manager with 2+ years’ experience in FMCG sales. Experience with trade marketing will be advantageous.

     

     

    Based in the Cape Town office, the ideal candidate thrives in innovative business environments and in new situations.

     

     

     

    This role is responsible for the development of key partner relationships with FMCG brands and retailers with the aim of driving sales and campaigns for our innovative digital platform.

     

     

    This business development role is best suited to a person who understands corporate culture and how to speak to that, ideally with 2+ years in a similar environment of business-to-business sales. Successful candidates will be self-starters that can manage their own time and diary, understand sales pipelines and decision maker’s timelines, and are exceptional communicators via both telephone presentation as well as in face to face meetings.

     

     

    As part of the coastal team, our area includes the Western Cape as well as the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, so you can expect a limited amount of overnight travel, but 98% of your time will be focused on Cape Town and surrounds.The position is structured around a generous basic commission and then commission on sales generated.
