MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BCom or similar

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Sound knowledge of financial accounting, internal controls and budgetary processes
• SAP
• Large ERP systems experience

JOB FUNCTION:

• Responsible for the general ledger of PPC Ltd and Shared Services
• Review and preparation of monthly account reconciliations
• Review and preparation of regulatory monthly reconciliations
• Month end closing on SAP and BPC
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of half-year and year-end audit packs
• Variance analysis of corporate departmental expenditure
• General head office accounting responsibilities
• Involvement in Corporate planning process
• Various ad-hoc responsibilities / projects within Group finance department
• Preparation of Stats returns

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer literacy-SAP, BPC, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills on all levels
