Civil Full Time or Part Time Lecturer at Engineering Academy

The Engineering Academy, a brand of The CAD Corporation Draughting Academy (Pty) Ltd is currently looking for a Civil Lecturer to join our Training team. This role requires not only a person with high level of Training skills as listed below, but also a person who shows great passion about technology, customer relationship and is eager to learn more.

The Lecturer will be responsible for Training and support of students studying via Full-time, Evening class or correspondence. The Trainer/lecturer will use their knowledge of the industry, applicable industry technology and Training skills to enhance the training curve for the students

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform Training duties that includes but are not limited to:

Offering of classes in the following Disciplines

• Civil Engineering N1-N3
• Civil Engineering N4-N6

The ability to train any of the following will be advantageous

• AutoCAD Civil 3D Software
• Compiling, marking and evaluation of Test, Examinations and other evaluation procedures.
• Preparation of training materia

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in the civil fields.
• Minimum 2 years Training experience within the technology sector.
• Minimum N6 National Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrate the ability to understand technology.
• Strong business acumen and ability to work under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team of technical personnel, marketing and project managers.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience and proven track record)
