    Procurement Executive

    Job description

    Execute all the analysis and reporting activities to provide the procurement supervisors/managers with all the relevant information to define and build potential sourcing scenarios. Monitor the sourcing activities for assigned local categories, whether products and/or services, to achieve lowest purchasing costs (Total Cost of Ownership
    TCO) for the local market while ensuring company quality standards are met.
    Contribute to the local functional strategies; clarify internal requirements and products/services specifications; conduct market intelligence to identify relevant trends and suppliers; conduct RFIs, RFPs and RFQs processes as well as negotiations with suppliers.

    Accountabilities

    • Analyze internal needs, external markets and cost structures to support the definition and formulation of sourcing scenarios/strategies for the assigned categories
    • Analyze current products/services portfolio and review/define together with internal customers their business requirements in terms of products/services needs and related standards of quality;
    • Conduct market intelligence activities (including RFI) to improve knowledge of available products, services and suppliers on the market.
    • Analyze the supplier base in order to identify cost savings, further supply base optimization and synergy opportunities on a regional/global level
    • Build/collect and analyze cost models with related cost element breakdowns to identify main cost drivers
    • Prepare and propose to the Supervisor Purchasing category specific sourcing analysis and all possible scenarios developed on identified business requirements, products/services specifications and market information.
    • Prepare and conduct RFIs, RFPs and RFQs
    • Develop and prepare all necessary reports to support the Supervisor Purchasing in the suppliers' selection process
    • Cooperate with the Supervisor Purchasing in setting the cost saving targets and standards of quality
    • Participate and lead less complex negotiations mainly with C suppliers
    • Support the definition and preparation of supplier contracts following Supervisor and Law department's guidelines and instructions
    • Upon contract(s) being signed, upload all data regarding suppliers and agreements onto all the relevant systems
    • Create POs making sure that formalized and optimal parameters, terms and conditions are correctly included, follow the related deliveries of products/service, reconciles receipt and invoice discrepancies, identifies settlement issues resulting from foreign currencies.
    • Ensure up to date and quality data in all relevant systems (e.g. SAP, e-Req, etc)
    • Execute periodic reportings on actuals, forecasting, turnover, inventory, etc
    • Run, analyze and consolidate supplier performance reports based on defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Report on issues and recommend appropriate corrective action plans
    • Establish and maintain working relationships with peers at affiliate and PMI OC level to ensure activities are carried out in an optimal way.
    • Improve business relationship with internal customers and suppliers by conducting regular reviews to ensure customer requirements are communicated to suppliers and expected targets in terms of performance and products/services quality are met.
    • Track and report on compliance issues related to transactions Relationships to manage Internal employees of the local Purchasing organization, peers in other affiliates, if required Global Procurement Teams, other department within PMI Procurement organization; other local and id needed international operations groups; business representatives in the affiliate (for assigned categories), experts in support functions such as Finance, Legal, Tax, etc Education Diploma and/or Degree, Certificate, from a recognized procurement institute Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance or Engineering with exposure to a multinational environment, preferably within a FMCG company Key
