Technical Analyst - 24/7 (Shiftwork)

Technical Analysts provide operational support across all our clients. The support includes daily monitoring of the environment and dealing with issues as they occur.

•  Methodical approach to work Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• The ability to monitor work flows The ability to work according to set processes
• Understanding of Incident management
• Dedicated worker
• Basic understanding of Postilion systems and the payments environment would be beneficial Handling of day-to-day incidents and requests for information / basic transaction queries Logging of all new incidents into the Service Desk Management of open incidents after hours, and working effectively to resolve these incidents
• Assist with problem solving and information gathering (traces/ log files etc)
• Technical support of our environment Early identification of issues through monitoring
• Escalation to senior technicians according to set processes and guidelines
• Basic monitoring and quality assurance checking
• Documentation and contributing to the Knowledge base Team work

The job requires shifts to be worked.

The shifts run on a rotational basis- 2 weeks of day duty and 2 weeks of night duty with relevant days off in between. Shifts run from 7am to 7pm and from 7pm to 7am. If you have not heard back from us within 2 weeks, please consider your application to be unsuccessful
