    Engineer IT Support

    Job Description

    You Will Be

    • Supporting planned / unplanned outages / incidents for VIP Users;
    • Trained on client handling skills and soft skills;
    • Troubleshooting problems with Laptop Hardware, Application, printer, OS, VPN related issues resolution;
    • Proactively checking all the IT assets of VIP users (frequency is once in a month)
    • Maintaining updated list of all VIP users across India with their laptops and peripheral details;
    • Helping VIP users in Web chat and WebEx sessions;
    • Execution of regular SRs;
    • Managing user accounts and access controls to client data;
    • Handling installation and configuration of Antivirus Software on all the Desktops/Laptops and Updating of Anti-Virus patches;
    • Configuring Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express;
    • Handling response and closure of calls within committed norms;
    • Performing desktop/phone setup for projects;
    • Reducing repetitive calls;
    • Handling Backup and Restoration; and,
    • Regularly reviewing with VIP users on feedback and new services enablement.

    Job Requirements

    You need to have at least 3 - 4 years' core experience of managing Desktop/Laptops, a good understanding of Desktop/Laptop troubleshooting, experience in managing VIP users (you are expected to excel in technical ability and mobility support), as well as hands on experience on Audio/Video conferencing (should be able to manage high profile meetings).

    You need to be good at supporting all IT related provided equipment such as PCs, Macs, Printers, Phones and Tablets, and assisting with testing and integrating new IT provided equipment and service as required.

    Lastly, you need previous working experience in a 24x7 support environment and you must be comfortable working in Global teams, handling critical incidents (Priority 1 issues) as well as communicating with and managing key stakeholders (internal/external).
