    Specialist: Fraud and Investigation

    Key Job Purpose:

    • To lead, manage, plan and execute Forensic Audit’s and to ensure that the quality of investigations is effectively and efficiently managed within the allocated resources in accordance with the Treasury Regulations and Procedures.

    Key Outcomes: (what deliverables are required to achieve job purpose)

    • Prepare reports for investigations conducted
    • Prepare summary reports for audit committee on progress of investigations

    Key Roles: (what role does one should play to deliver the outcomes)

    • Provide advice on how to proceed with a forensic investigation
    • Conduct investigations
    • Prepare detailed report on findings of investigations
    • Compile a report for the investigation authorities
    • Recommend enhancement to processes
    • Liaise with investigating authorities
    • Assist with preparation affidavits
    • Lodge criminal cases with the investigating authorities
    • Prepare for staff disciplinary hearings
    • Testify at disciplinary hearings
    • Enhance polices on Fraud prevention
    • Develop policies for Protected Disclosure Act (PDA)
    • Develop guidelines for conflict of interest
    • Evaluate staff “Declaration of Interest”
    • Conduct fraud risk assessments
    • Perform operational duties within the unit
    • Perform Ad-Hoc reviews as requested by Management

    Qualification:

    • NQF level 7 - Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Auditing, Internal Auditing, Forensic Investigation, Law
    • Professional certification of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Professional Internal Auditor (PIA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) will be an added advantage

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 Years' experience in conducting Forensic Investigations and/or Auditing

    Specialist : Social Impact Design

    Qualification:

    • NQF Level 7 (Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Sustainable Finance, Development Finance, or related field). A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.

    Experience:

    • Proven experience (minimum 7 years) working in social impact design, community development, or rural enterprise development, preferably in South Africa or similar contexts. 
    • Strong understanding of gender dynamics, poverty alleviation strategies, and empowerment approaches targeting women and vulnerable groups in rural communities. 
    • Demonstrated experience in program planning, participatory methods, and community engagement techniques. 
    • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in business plan development, financial analysis, and market research. 
    • 7+ years’ professional experience in farming and have practical exposure to on- farm production, value chain development and leading agricultural enterprises. 
    • Registration with recognised agricultural organisations is advantageous. 
    • Must be computer literate and possess sound knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and a track record in production risk management.

    Specialist:Events and Outreach

    Qualification:

    • NQF level 6 in Event Management; Communications; Public Administration, Marketing, Political Science, or related field or equivalent experience.

    Experience:

    • 2 - 3 years in event organising or planning. 
    • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in public outreach, public relations, media relations, communications, public affairs, intergovernmental relations, or a related field with a public agency or private company. 
    •  A minimum of five years of experience developing relationships with elected officials, community stakeholders and the media. 
    •  Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details. 
    • Demonstrated excellence with verbal and written communications skills

    Specialist: Agri Business

    Qualification:

    • NQF Level 7 (National diploma in farm management, BAgric administration, Degree/Diploma in Crop Science, Agribusiness.NQF Level 7( Bsc Agricultural Economics, Honours in Project Management, Environmental economics, Bsc Animal Production, Bsc Agronomy or Bsc Plant Production).

    Experience:

    • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in business plan development, financial analysis, and market research. 
    • 7+ years’ professional experience in farming and have practical exposure to on- farm production, value chain development and leading agricultural enterprises. 
    • Registration with recognised agricultural organisations such as AEASA or any relevant body is advantageous. 
    • At least 3-5 years’ experience working as a farm manager/ farm supervisor is advised. 
    • Must be computer literate and possess sound knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and a track record in production risk management. 
    • Expertise in food production, customer safety, intuitive management skills. The candidate should possess expertise in managing mix- farming operations for vegetables and livestock production

    Qualification:

    Accountant: Grants and Investments

    Key Job Purpose:
    Provide accounting support to the Senior Accountant: 

    • Grants and Investments in ensuring that all financial controls are properly in place and that all relevant reports are accurate and comply with the required standards, rules, and regulations. 
    • Further, required to develop various methods and practices to manage the investment-related accounts and to help in predicting future revenue opportunities by developing and maintaining the financial controls in various emerging areas of investment. 
    • Review all grant agreements and apply proper accounting treatment in accordance with revenue recognition rules. 
    • Compile and organize supporting documentation for all grants and investments.
    • Review monthly expenditures against grant budgets to verify appropriateness of the expenses and make revisions within accounting system as needed.
