NQF Level 7 (Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Sustainable Finance, Development Finance, or related field). A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
Experience:
Proven experience (minimum 7 years) working in social impact design, community development, or rural enterprise development, preferably in South Africa or similar contexts.
Strong understanding of gender dynamics, poverty alleviation strategies, and empowerment approaches targeting women and vulnerable groups in rural communities.
Demonstrated experience in program planning, participatory methods, and community engagement techniques.
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in business plan development, financial analysis, and market research.
7+ years’ professional experience in farming and have practical exposure to on- farm production, value chain development and leading agricultural enterprises.
Registration with recognised agricultural organisations is advantageous.
Must be computer literate and possess sound knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and a track record in production risk management.
