    NPD Manager

    Job description

    Our Client, a global leader in the personal care FMCG industry as an exciting opportunity for a seasoned NPD Manager to lead the implementation of projects of all New Product Development and existing Product changes from receipt of project brief to release for sale across all functions in the business including local, contract manufacturing and co-packers, ensuring that they meet the business plans within the agreed timelines and quality standards.

    You will be required to manage the full packaging development function including full overseeing of line, functional as well as research and development tests. Your project management and planning skills will be essential when generating timelines for relevant projects and liaising with all relevant functions on timings, tasks and tracking these to ensure achievement of business NPD targets. Cross-functional and stakeholder engagement skills will be required as you will serve as liaison between the Supply (operations) and Marketing/Sales (commercial) functions, ensuring effective communication with all people involved on the product definition / realisation process; both locally & globally.

    Applicants must have a Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent, coupled with Packaging Development and Project Management Diplomas. 3 to 5 years Product/Packaging development management experience within a personal care/cosmetics environment as well as a strong understanding of all packaging technologies will be required.
