    Where do you want to be?

    We are looking for the best and brightest minds in marketing to become part of our South African sales team. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced Marketer in a B2B environment who is looking to take his/her career to the next level. This role includes

    You will be responsible for developing a market plan and executing marketing in South Africa. This involves budget planning, strategy and the timely and qualitative execution of this plan. As a Marketing Manager you will report directly into the Sales Director South Africa.

    • Develop, contribute and manage marketing activities with the TomTom Telematics resellers for the described area;
    • Create and maintain several sales leads sources to support prospecting and sales activity;
    • Identify target markets in which to prospect and uncover suitable sales opportunities;
    • Develop, optimize, implement and evaluate the TomTom Telematics marketing plan and activities within the area organization;
    • Liaise and provide guidance to the Sales Management team in the marketing approach;
    • Manage the relationship with our outsourced PR company to deliver relevant content and increase brand awareness;
    • Working a minimum two days per week from our office in Centurion.

    What do we expect from you?

    There is no set route to become a Marketing Manager B2B at TomTom. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind

    • University or graduate degree (preferred marketing, business management);
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a B2B channel environment is required;
    • Preferred marketing knowledge or experience of areas relating to service industries, fleet management, logistics, transportation, electronics, telecommunications, hi- technology, vertical software or closely related B2B industries;
    • Proven experience in designing, implementing and delivering marketing plans with a focus on new business generation;
    • Strategic planning skills and to manage multiple tasks and prioritize;
    • Excellent organizational and administrative skills;
    • Outstanding communicator;
    • Strong computer literacy and competency with Microsoft Office packages;
    • Driven and ambitious; real passion for the products and markets;
    • Entrepreneurial thinking and team player;
    • Result oriented, takes initiative, positive attitude;
