Account Manager at Nielsen

Job description

As a Manager in RMS (Retail Measurement Services – a service to track movement of consumer goods from manufacturer to the consumer through the retail trade) you will oversee, manage and be accountable for the servicing of our global CPG clients and the expansion of the client base. This includes:

• Create and grow long term client engagement/relationships across multiple functions within the client organization
• Deliver presentations across all categories for core markets to brand teams to enable greater understanding of brand performance
• Understand client strategic business priorities and align Nielsen assets to deliver against them through consultative selling
• Maintain a client service orientation by managing day-to-day client service / sales activities and coordinating on analysis and reporting of assigned research projects.
• Serve as primary contact to client on ad-hoc analyses and understand and respond to questions and related issues

Job Requirements

• Client consulting experience within CPG environment
• Working experience with data tracking tools such as Nielsen / I.R.I
• Understanding of the Retail trade/industry
• Strong sales, negotiating and presentation skills
• Proven analytic skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A relevant University degree
