    Junior IT Support Technician

    Job description

    Who We Need – Junior IT Support Technician

    Decision Inc. is currently looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to join the Decision Inc. team.

    We represent the following leading global technology brands and are experts in the implementation, support and execution of these technologies: Qlik, Microsoft BI (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI), Tableau, R, Python, Alteryx and SAP.

    What Will You Do?

    • Assist in maintaining the company's computer services and equipment
    • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
    • Provide IT support to the Decision Inc. Team
    • Initial troubleshooting to determine the correct support requirements
    • Ensure the quick resolution of tickets logged
    • Ensure users are kept updated on the progress in relation to the resolution of their tickets
    • Assist in setting up new hard hardware
    • Set up, maintain and control employee user accounts, e-mails and logins
    • Maintain IT Inventory and Asset registry

    Who Do You Need To Be?

    • Technical Support Experience: At least 6 months
    • Relevant post matric qualification e.g. A+ N+
    • Working knowledge of computers, printers, scanners, and networks
    • Ability to manage multiple user requests simultaneously
    • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and written
    • Outgoing personality, with a proactive customer service attitude
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
