    Group Financial Accountant

    Job description

    The opportunity that awaits you:

    Our client in the Retail industry is looking for Group Financial Accountant. Our client has over 104 outlets throughout Southern Africa and serves all commercial/construction industry.

    Your key responsibilities:

    • Gather monthly reports from group and prepare summary report
    • Process monthly consolidation and journals
    • Consolidated trial balance, monthly management pack and monthly management accounts for Support Office
    • Prepare Group Tax Asset roll-forward
    • Prepare quarterly accounting pack schedules
    • Prepare quarterly tax packs & quarterly audit schedules
    • Prepare year-end accounting and tax packs
    • Manage group insurance claims register and annual insurance declaration
    • Design and implement management reports for the group

    Our Required expertise:

    • Completed SAICA Articles
    • 2 – 3 years post articles experience, in retail or commercial setting
    • Report writing & Management accounting skills required
    • Strong Microsoft Excel experience
