    Regional Manager

    Job description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the formulation of the company and channel strategies of SPW along with Channel Heads and ensure the implementation thereof
    • Contribute to the general success and profitability of SPW
    • Compile regional budgets and manage costs and income budgets accordingly
    • Manage and integrate Portfolio and Wealth Management, Fiduciary, Tax and Credit offerings to clients within the region
    • Monitor risk and compliance by ensuring employees who trade, adhere to the company’s and JSE rules and other relevant legislation
    • Represent SPW as and when required in accordance with the company profile
    • Take full responsibility for the overall performance, delivering on agreed profits and budgets for all braches at regional level
    • Network for opportunities for the region with both direct clients and intermediaries by working closely with the National Sales Manager, in co-ordinating business development activities
    • Accountable for upholding the company culture, values and objectives at regional level
    • Implement and maintain talent management of all regional employees ensuring a comprehensive talent retention and management plan is in place and executed accordingly
    • Empower employees to take responsibility and be accountable
    • Along with the Branch Service Manager, manage the day to day running of branch administration within the region and assist in monitoring overall customer satisfaction
    • Facilities Management
    • Assist in monitoring overall client satisfaction

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and / or industry qualification
    • Proven track record to lead a team at a regional level
    • Previous experience within investments / financial services / private clients administration will be a distinct advantage

    Technical Competencies:

    • Computer literate in MS Office
    • Knowledge of the trading environment

    • Personal drive and ambition to achieve results and succeed
