    Retail Client Relationship Manager

    Job description

    DUTIES AND DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide information to clients on products and funds available on the Retail Platform
    • Train and support IFA’s and Direct Clients on Procedures, Quotes systems Portal sites and completion of application forms and supporting documents pertaining to FICA and FAIS
    • Provide feedback in the format requested by the client or advisor within the turnaround times according to the timing set out
    • Attend to and refer all escalated queries to the departments responsible and follow up on feedback
    • Identify the root cause of queries and provide accurate and speedy resolution
    • Maintain a good internal department relationship to ensure that you get the maximum support collaboration
    • Report any product or special needs that the advisor may have to the Sales Team
    • Research of financial markets and fund performance in order to provide valuable feedback to clients
    • Optimise Client Relationship Management skills and processes to deliver the maximum service impact to clients
    • Understand and manage risks and risk events relevant to the role and immediately report any findings to the Retail Manager for discussion and resolution. (FICA and FAIS)
    • Send monthly reports and progress reports to advisors when requested
    • Maintain a healthy team spirit by assisting peers where needed.

    ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • BCom or equivalent undergraduate degree /diploma us preferable
    • At least 2-3 years’ experience in Client Servicing
    • Experience in the Linked Investment Service Provider (LISP) environment administration is preferable
    • Experience in the following Financial Services industries is an advantage: LISP, Collective Investment Schemes, Retirement Funds, Linked Life Companies, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)
    • Advance excel skills

    COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

    • Strong organisational skills – a passion for getting things done quickly and correctly
    • Ability to work both within a team and individually
    • Be a self-starter and must be proactive in taking ownership for their own learning and career development
    • Be discreet, professional and well-spoken
    • Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments
