Job description

Incumbents Will Be Required To:

• Supervise the blending of consistent quality products
• Manage and report on production order variances
• Manage product effectively
• Manage losses and write-offs
• Minimise and report on downtime
• Effective admin housekeeping
• Performance Management (Supervision and motivation) of staff
• Maintain effective discipline within the team
• Ensure effective performance management of staff within the team
• Ensure that all products adheres to quality specifications
• Liaise with the necessary departments concerning planned production deadlines
• Adhere to production plans
• Ensure that departments quality management documents are kept up to date
• Execute internal and self-audits
• Oversee that the right filtration material and components are used for specific products
• Maintain effective housekeeping and safety practices
• Play leading role in driving mini business area concepts and modules

Minimum Qualification And Experience Requirements

• BSC Winemaking or a BTech in Food Technology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a Team Leadership role within an FMCG environment (preferably in a Beverage Manufacturing facility)
