    Network Manager

    Job description

Overview of the role and its mandate:

LifeCo UnLtd has taken the initiative to create the South African Impact Entrepreneurs Network (SAIEN) so that the entrepreneurs that it supports and other impact enterprises could have a voice that is exclusively the voice of impact entrepreneurs – uncluttered by all other stakeholders. SAIEN will collaborate with other stakeholders, but the voice of entrepreneurs will be the driving force. After 3 years of establishing SAIEN, LifeCo UnLtd will step back and join as a member. SAIEN will then belong to the sector as an independent enterprise itself, driven by a impact entrepreneur. It does not intend to have thousands of members. It will be a core of 30 committed entrepreneurs who have proven themselves and their impact. It will grow organically from there, but will remain a niche of practicing impact entrepreneurs. LifeCo UnLtd is therefore looking to recruit a Network & Mobilisation Manager for the South African Impact Entrepreneurs Network. SAIEN’s Network & Mobilisation Manager’s primary role is to build a cohesive, resilient network that supports the network’s purpose and mandate. SAIEN’s Network & Mobilisation Manager’s core responsibility will be to:

    • implement the membership development plan, manage resources and set workflow priorities

    • hold regular progress meetings and circulate progress reports on activity against targets e.g. growth projections, campaign effectiveness, response timescales for membership inquiries, etc.
