Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Working across a geographical region (in this instance South Africa), SAIEN’s Network & Mobilisation Manager will be required to:

undertake the strategic and operational development of SAIEN, in consultation with relevant stakeholders

undertake the development of governance arrangements within SAIEN
-
manage commissioning and subcontracting as appropriate
-
income generate/fundraise to build the network sustainability
-
manage financial reporting and budgets including presentation to strategic groups
-
build and sustain membership
-
maintain a high level of member satisfaction with incoming and outgoing communications
-
arrange meetings, conferences and events as required by the network as well as the sector
-
respond to policy initiatives and consultations on behalf of the network
-
raise the profile of the impact enterprise sector
-
prepare newsletters, press communication and social media activity
-
oversee development of, and update website, including an on-line impact enterprise database
-
represent the network at and within relevant fora
-
liaise with appropriate public, voluntary and private sector partners and statutory agencies to promote impact enterprise, within the wider economy
-
implement the membership development plan, manage resources and set workflow priorities
-
hold regular progress meetings and circulate progress reports on activity against targets e.g. growth projections, campaign effectiveness, response timescales for membership inquiries, etc.

anticipate problems and adjust the allocation of resources accordingly

contribute to the membership development plan and review:

member recruitment and retention campaigns

interpret membership recruitment and retention statistics and review member research and make recommendations
