    Job description

    Job Requirements

    • A university degree;
    • At least two years' relevant experience, or at least five years experience at a higher education institution;
    • Proven experience of admission and selection processes at a higher education institution;
    • Proven ability to work with a high attention to detail and to maintain confidentiality;
    • Proven organisational, planning, prioritising and administrative skills;
    • Proven ability to function effectively under pressure and to keep to strict deadlines;
    • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to function effectively within a multi-lingual and multi-cultural environment;
    • Ability to manage problem and conflict situations in a diplomatic manner;
    • Excellent interpersonal relationships with students, direct colleagues and academic staff;
    • Proven computer literacy, which includes sound knowledge of Microsoft Office;
    • The ability to work as part of a team;
    • Willingness and availability to work irregular hours at times.

    Recommendation

    • Proven value-driven management skills, or a recognised management qualification;
    • Proven presentation skills;
    • Proven record of student-centered service delivery;
    • Proven experience of the software used within the SU environment.
