    • Level 4 FETC Short-Term Insurance Qualification
    • Passed exam RE: Representatives
    •  

    Experience
      
    Sales Consultant

    Min 4 years’ experience within service department (personal lines insurance), including 2 years in a Sales & Claims Environment

    Policy Administration

    • Load policies, amendments and endorsements on the system promptly
    • Ensure 1st premium payment processes and debits are discussed and agreed with the clients
    • Ensure data integrity on all systems
    • General correspondence and e-mails to clients according to company standards
    • Responsible for Pro-Active underwriting.
    • Responsible for Re-Active underwriting.
    • Adhere to underwriting criteria-FAIS requirements and set company standards
    • Do amendments correctly & promptly
    • Manage incoming and outgoing e-mails according to set norms and standards.

    • Ensure regular report and feedback to manager

    Claims Administration

    • Receive incoming Faxes, emails and other documentation and respond in the appropriate manner
    • Capture information accurately and timeously on the administration system
    • Ensure regular follow-up of claims
    • Follow-up on outstanding information with clients
    • Create and maintain an effective filing system
    • Ensure that third party claims are sent to Brolink as soon as possible
    • Obtain documentation from Public Authorities eg. Vehicle registration papers/SAPS reports
    • Handling of all claims correspondence
    • Ensure diary entries to ensure that SLA’s are adhered to
    • Ensure claims process is followed in line with SLA’s
    • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures relating to claims processing
    • Operate within delegated authorities framework to limit exposure
    • Effectively attend to deviations and escalate claims queries and resolve expeditiously

    Customer service excellence

    • Provide a rewarding service experience at all touch points
    • Ensure that customer queries are attended to and resolved expeditiously
    • Respond to client’s requirements by providing appropriate risk solutions.
    • To ensure the provision of a rewarding service experience with each claim handled within the team in line with CSI targets
    • Manage client expectation and advise clients on claims(eg loss of ncb, excesses)
    • Maintain constant feedback and proactive communication with clients
    • Indemnification of clients according to set standards
