    • Here, everyone matters and you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. As a Hospital and Oncology Sales Representativeworking in the Johannesburg North/West team, a typical day will include:
    • Ensure the achievement of promoted brands sales targets - Xefo IV, Ferinject, Doribax as main promoted lines
    • Launch of new product for oncology, namely Adcetris.
    • Achievement of non-sales KPIs for Adcetris
    • Promotion of Xefo IV, Ferinject, Doribax at identified hospitals and to identified doctors and key accounts
    • Promotion of Adcetris to oncologists and all support staff at practice; nurses, oncology pharmacists, reimbursement specialists
    • Drive business and sales performance though SFE KPI achievement
    • Implement KAM principles in the management of the Hospital Account: Close the loop
    • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders including pharmacy managers, buyers and pharmacists and case managers
    • Drive product training with ICU’s, Wards and Pharmacy
    • Effectively manage the customer database to ensure effective customer targeting
    • Communicate key information supported by Hospital head office procurement heads

    An Aligned Approach

    • Effective development and implementation of Territory Action Plans
    • Ensure effective execution of marketing strategies
    • Effectively manage and allocate a monthly budget to territory activities that will complement the promotion of the brands and gain a positive return on investment
    • Promote a highly technical and innovative oncology product portfolio to a sophisticated audience.
    • The development of relationships and maintaining an active presence within hospitals and oncology practices and associated organisations in the State and Private sectors in South Africa
    • Identification of KOLs (thought-leaders), brand ambassadors and area speakers
    • Service function required to practices and clinics
    • Implementation and support of patient support programs within oncology practices.
    • Providing strategic input and the implementation of national strategies and tactics

    • To deliver the appropriate amount of high quality sales call making every call count through the implementation of the project excellence principles.

    Required Qualifications
    The successful candidate will need to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, capable of driving multiple simultaneous initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, motivate others and to drive high performance. The candidate will be goal oriented, focused, energetic, and enthusiastic and will be able to organize and prioritize. Further the successful candidate will be able to present to individuals and groups.

    The candidate will show the following competencies: excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to be proactive, ability to cultivate relationships. The candidate will strive to deliver on commitments, know our business, demonstrate flexibility, be conscientious and be able to take initiative

    Education And Experience Required For The Role

    • B. SC / or medical qualification or equivalent is required.
    • 3 +years pharmaceutical representative experience
    • Proven track record of consistent successful achievements
    • Experience with a specialist & hospital customer base essential
    • Oncology/Haematology sales experience would be an advantage.
